Rude staff. Do not recommend to visit if you are expecting a customer service.

I have purchased an opal ring during my trip in Melbourne and I was informed that resize is available in Sydney, so I went in. We were told that the service was not available.

I was happy to pay extra money to get a ring that is my size and style. So I have asked if I can see any rings they have in silver, purely because when it comes to ring, I prefer silver than gold.

Robert seemed like he was disappointed that we were not considering any of the gold options, and he was clearly looking down on us because we were on our casual clothes since we just have landed back to Sydney from Melbourne.

There were only 3 rings available on my size on silver, so I asked him if there are any other options. Robert informed us that the ones on display is all the stock they’ve got. However, this was clearly a lie since we the other staff replacing the ring that we chose as we we were getting it exchanged.

They clearly had more rings in draws, however clearly he just wanted us to leave since he decided we we were considered not worth his time. This was very unpleasant and disappointing experience especially the store was completely empty and we were the only customers there who were trying to purchase something.

It is a shame because I was browsing for a friendly place to take my family for a Christmas shopping since they like collecting opals, but clearly this is not the...

Very diappointing experience. I went in to treat myself to an opal before heading home later today. When I first got inside I presented the gentleman with a voucher for a free opal before making my big purchase. I started looking at the cheaper opaos before moving around to the better quality opal I was after. As I got closer to the dearer opals the gentleman walked towards me and redirected me back to the cheap opals. When I sat down to transfer money over to make my purchase a lady then basically tried to move me on as well. I would suggest that staff should not treat a book by a cover. Fantastic. Wonderful. Impressive and monumental. I never knew that such a worth seeing place exist in Sydney. This is a museum in a medium sized hall at first floor accessible by escalators where a Jurassic Park is made with prehistoric animals sculptures and true fossils of dinosaur age are exhibited.
