As a regular customer at this place, I’m deeply disappointed by the experience my friends and I had yesterday. After ordering our food, one of the employees came outside while we were waiting for our friends and spoke to us in a very rude and disrespectful way, telling us we needed to go inside. What made the situation worse was his comment, ‘Don’t you guys speak Dutch?’ it felt discriminatory and offensive, especially since we were all speaking Dutch. When we explained that our friends were about to join us outside after receiving their food, he raised his voice at us and told us we needed to communicate better. We had already communicated clearly, and our friends came outside right after with their meals.

The way we were treated was unacceptable and left us feel unwelcome. He should have approached us in a more respectful and friendly way. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially tourists who deserve to feel comfortable and respected (coming from a local...

We are visitors from Germany and we don’t speak Flämisch or Dutch. We kindly said Hi to the guy behind the corner. The guy said Hi back and was laughing over us and was looking for guest inside that would join him to make a joke out of it. I asked him if he speaks English but he laughed again and repeated Hi. I told him I don’t speak Flämisch and if could help us. He responded and laughed and mentioned we should look in the menu that is in Flamish and turned around. What a fantastic service!!! Frituur 't Stad is een geweldige plek voor liefhebbers van Belgische frietjes en snacks. Het etablissement straalt een gezellige, nostalgische sfeer uit die je meteen verwelkomt.

Wat meteen opvalt, is de kwaliteit van de frietjes. Ze zijn knapperig aan de buitenkant en heerlijk zacht van binnen, precies zoals goede Belgische friet hoort te zijn. Het assortiment aan sauzen is indrukwekkend en biedt voor ieder wat wils. Van klassieke mayonaise tot bijzondere smaken, er is geen tekort aan keuzemogelijkheden.

Naast frietjes biedt Frituur 't Stad ook een scala aan snacks, waaronder kroketten, frikandellen en bitterballen. Deze snacks zijn altijd vers en smakelijk.

Wat de service betreft, is het personeel vriendelijk en efficiënt. De wachttijden zijn meestal kort, zelfs tijdens drukke uren.

Het enige mogelijke nadeel zou de beperkte zitgelegenheid kunnen zijn, maar dat is gebruikelijk bij veel frituren in België.
