Attendant was friendly, but the exchange rate is a rip-off. Normally when I travel I don't exchange a lot of money. I manage my expenses with my CCs. Currently my CC is processing my charges by crediting me an average exchange rate of 4.95 per dollar, which is suppose to be the official rate. The exchange rate at this place was 4.40. My advice would be don't exchange a lot of cash....

Tasso di cambio poco buono. Mi serviva un po di contanti per le piccole spese e ho accettato il cambio proposto. L'euro oggi cambiato a 5,70 contro il valore ufficiale di 6,40, oltre il 10% in meno. Un consiglio..visto i prezzi che praticano cosi sfavorevoli, usate le carte..sono accettate ovunque e le commissioni pagate sono di solito circa il 3%... 3 euro ogni cento contro i 10 pagati oggi. È anche un modo per far calare le loro pretese. Integrazione alla risposta dell'azienda: hanno risposto (e non so se si vedra la risposta dopo l'integrazione o se si bedra modificata) che ho cambiato solo 30 € con una banconota da 50 chiedendo il resto. Ma so bene che questo giustificherebbe il cambio e non avrei giudizio negativo se fosse stato cosi. Ma non è vero!! Sono falsi!! Ho cambiato 100 € per le mie piccole spese (2 banconote da 50) senza alcun resto, ovviamente. Confermo che non conviene andare lì e soprattutto non cambiate...a Rio accettano carta ovunque. Puoi pagare con carta anche gli ambulanti in spiaggia e anche gli ombrelloni!! La loro risposta fa dubitare anche delle...
