We had our daughters birthday party today & it was extremely dissatisfying the way it ended. We had the 1:30-4:00pm slot Arctic room during the middle of the party have to go pick up my eldest daughter from her camp so that she can be a part of the cake cutting when I arrived back it was only half an hour left for the party to finish. The staff came to to me and told me that I have to pay $28 as she is under 18 and attending the party. I told them that she is not using any of the facility and it's only here for the cake cutting but they insisted that I have to pay and so I did. 5 minutes before the party was over the staff was already hovering around eagerly awaiting to take all the stuff out off and kick us out of the room so we were getting ready while I was taking all the gifts the staff again reminded me the party is over and you'll have to leave I said okay and then the the staff went to my wife and said the same thing in front of the other guests. we really did not appreciate the mannerism of these reminders I have been too many indoor playgrounds and I have not experienced such rude Behavior. They allow the kids to play for extra time. we spent more than $400, brought all our stuff and set up the place and if we are overtime this isn't the way remind your customers. The place wasn't even busy and if guests wants to sit a little bit outside of the party room y'all should allow it and not try to chase people out, all our guests were going to leave anyways including myself, the rude mannerism and The Way We Were chased out has left a bad taste in our mouth please don't tell me that there are capacity issues as I could clearly see it wasn't busy, the staff clearly needs training in customer approach. I felt ripped off that they charge my eldest daughter and she didn't even get to use the facility. This has really upset us and I will never ever come back to your indoor playground facility. There are many other indoor play areas who want our business and will treat us nicely I will ensure to give them my business. I have been to other indoor play areas and they have treated us much much nicer and the experience has been amazing but your facility and your staff has left an extremely terrible experience and I am very upset,you have lost our business and I would not recommend any of our family friends to your...
Read moreWe attended my neices Birthday party this weekend. We have been to Lil' Monkeys a few times before (as paying customers) for my husband and 3 kids. First off, children 2 and under should not be the price being charged. They are not using all of the facilities the older kids are using. I have a 2-year-old (7 and 9 year old) and I know this as a fact.
Now, the Birthday party we attended this weekend, my sister spent over $1,000 for the party. The service was decent except when it came to the party ending. First of all, all the cards and tickets for VR and Bugee jumping were not allowed to be used. Any other play place, when the party is finished you are still able to use the rest of your play card as well as add more credits to the cards and anything else (tokens/coins) you were given for the Bday party. I have NEVER experienced what we experienced at Lil' Monkeys. We were told we had to leave and pay for another pass to be able to continue or finish using the cards and tickets we received during the party. So not only was the party (over $1,000) paid for but we had to also pay for another entry. Absolutely disgusting. On top of this disappointment, guests were told to leave the premises over and over. This is extremely embarrassing, especially for the party host and also should be for the business. One of the guests was waiting with her 2 daughters (2 and 5) for her husband who had the flu (coming from Mississauga) to pick her up and as she was waiting, she was told to move off the couch and leave. Then someone was telling her to leave while her kids were putting shoes on, calling her daughters names out loud. Why are you calling the children's names?? Then, while she was waiting by the front door, she was asked to leave again. How disgraceful!! The manager was absolutely rude, as well as a lot of the young staff. You do not speak to customers the way they were. Parents were willing to put extra credits on the cards ....isnt that more money for the business????? My husband asked to have the 2 cards combined into 1 card for future use and the girl told him she couldn't because the party we were attending was over.

The room was great our host, Kate was Absolutely incredible she was there to answer any question, refill drinks right there to cut the cake and serve it to my guests I highly recommend her she made our experience wonderful. In fact all of your staff except for one were always helpful and right there when you needed them. I completely understand that I signed a waiver saying that we would leave the facility after the party but I honestly didn’t realize that meant if we were continuing to spend money at your venue. All of our guests had left except myself my partner our sons and the two people that had come with us 6 in total. My friend had literally ordered food and was waiting for the food to be done when Anna I’m assuming is the manager aggressively told her that she couldn’t have the food that she had just ordered and told her she had to pack it up to go! She was absolutely stunned! To be honest I was embarrassed . I was at the prize counter about to purchase more cards when Anna came over to me reminded me about the contract and told me I had to leave the facility. Take into consideration that it was closer to the end of the night and the facility was pretty much empty. I completely understand that I signed a contract but I also believe that you should really use your discretion. Now a party that I really enjoyed has now left a bad taste in my mouth because of your “manager” who told one of my guests that she had to leave packed up her food and kicked her out. We spend really good money that day and were willing to spend more but Anna decided that she didn’t want our money I guess. If I owned this business I wouldn’t want a manager that spoke to my guests like that.
