Well I was disappointed with this place unfortunately. I know this location just opened ten days ago and that is why I tried it twice. To give a fair review while keeping in mind they are new.
Pros. Cool atmosphere. Clean restaurant aside from the stench in the bathrooms. Plenty of wing sauce choices and wings are pretty good. Beer pricing decent.
Cons. Staff. Both visits my service was just awful. First visit I sat at the bar. Bartender said hi but made no mention of specials or anything. I had to ask her what the special was. Special was if you buy one pound of wings you get it for half price ONLY IF you buy a drink. Fine, they make money on the drinks and make a little on the food. There is no way I would return to pay $17 for a pound of wings and a pop. They charge almost $4 for an iced tea. Most soft drinks are 2 too 2.99 in this area. My second visit I sat at a table. Still awful service. Now I should state that the server was very polite and friendly. Just awful at serving ! I ordered a pop and a water. TWENTY minutes later I still didn't have a drink. The table behind me had a beer...then another beer before my drink came. The food came out by a very nice young man. I assume he is either the manager or owner. You can tell he cares about the place. I mentioned to him my drink still hadn't come and he looked concerned. They finally bring me my pop. They forgot the water. She asks if I still want the water...yes. The water comes and the glass smells strongly of cleaning solution. Plus side the glass is clean. On the other hand it wasn't rinsed well. Didn't finish that drink. The wings were pretty good. Would return on a wing night but no chance at full price.
A father and son sat behind me and placed their order. Pop for the kid and beer for the dad. They ordered 3 pounds of wings and the server told them they have to get another drink to get the deal. 2 people. 3 drinks. Come on!! As soon as she left the table the father said "well we won't be back here". Why tick clients off!?!
This may improve as they get more comfortable. I assume the servers I had were brand new in the business. I only hope.
Couple of tidbits I would like for the owner of the restaurant to see. Both visits I had not one but two single use plastic cups delivered to my table with a lid. Why? Get Multiuse containers for the ranch/salsa. What a waste. Plastic straws. It's 2019. Get on board with helping the environment. Get rid of them! Do something about the smell in the bathroom. Yuck. May want to retrain or rehire staff. It's a tough business to get lost clients back.
Hope this helps. Best...
Read moreI do not where to start, it was all a disaster. We were shopping next door and we decide to stop by for some wings. The place was empty so a bonus for quick wings. Or at least you would think so. We started with drinks. Got Mai Tai and a beer. The Mai Tai drink was made with pineapple juice ! And half way through I was like hmm it tastes so off, so after asking the server she confirms it is with pineapple ( imagine if I was allergic or something). She said maybe the menu is old or something . What?? After leaving I just check and it still says orange juice on the official website. Soo maybe they ran out of orange and decided to sue pineapple? Without letting us know? Unacceptable. Then the wings come. Pretty good. My hubby got 2 lbs of Winga and fries and I got flatbread. He was able to finish his drink, and food. All of it. And my food was till not there. It shows up eventually … COLD. I could not believe it. Working at the restaurants most of my life, we always time food to be served together. It’s the whole idea of eating out with company. Going out. To eat together. We were told that wings take 8 min and flatbread takes 20 min. Ok, the time it in a way that 12 min into the flatbread you start the wings so the food comes out together. Unreal! And is so, why is it served COLD after waiting forever for it. The place it empty so no excuse for them to be busy. Where this flatbread have been from the time it left the oven to being served, to be completely cold? Wow, just wow. Left starving. After all this time as it was’t eatable and we didn’t want to wait another 40 min...
Read moreMy wife and another couple came here last night for wings and a few other apps For a wing joint I thought there wings would be awesome My wife and I ordered triple wings And they seemed so salty we literally ate 5 wings in total while sitting to dine We don’t complain about food cause who knows what they can do to it when it comes back out So we paid the bill and took to go
As a person who can’t eat salt it was very disappointing to say the less
My wife ordered a pound out of the mild wings Came hot With taste of curry Mine where honey hot (typically my fav sauce ) they where hot with no taste of honey to them at all
Very disappointed The guy that was working never looked at my wife or my buddies wife while they talked He would answer only looking at my buddy I found that very rude As they talked about the “new burrito joint they have in Hamilton” They guy literally stood at our table talking about this new place as people stood at the door waiting to be acknowledged.
Not to mention we were the only people dinning there as some single dude was drinking pints before he went to work at the bar It took way to long for our drink order And the food when it came out was more less unimpressive. Not to say all wild wings are the same but I won’t be back to this location for the lack of acknowledgment, the whole time buddy stood at our table started to talk burritos then it was all ears on us. I...
