Pür & Simple — Restaurant in Burlington

Been wanting to visit a pur and simple location for so long but every time we went to the appleby location always PACKED. Im glad we got the opportunity to visit this location and it looks the same as the other locations and extremely clean same with the bathrooms which are private unisex stalls which i appreciate

Our server was Michael who was great in suggestion menu items / knew the menu very well and had a great personality was a pleasure to be served by him, even took some pics of us at the end!

ICED VANILLA LATTE $5.75 It says that it’s made by Nespresso It was good but I felt I was missing something but I just can’t put my finger on it. 8/10

MANGO TANGO $7.75 Mangoes, bananas, Greek yogurt and pineapple juice. It was garnished with a twisted orange and was really nice thick and refreshing smoothie 10/10

I wanna start off by saying the pur and Simple at Appleby is amazing, it’s genuinely my favourite breakfast place with the kindest service and great food. I went to this one as it opened and it’s closer. The server was very dry, I didn’t care because she might be having a bad day. So we order our food, first we asked for Turkey bacon, they managed to mix that up with regular bacon and sausage . Again it wasn’t an issue it was a mistake, they took our food and left and replaced it. They came back and we tried our food. What was that? The pancakes were so tough we couldn’t even cut them, it looked like bugs in them. The blueberry pancake wasn’t even edible. The toast was burnt, I’m talking black. We didn’t even bother to return it as it was just to much. Oh I forgot to add that we waited 50 minutes for three simple dishes. Got poached eggs, tell me why there was a genuine like puddle of water in talking a cup. We didn’t tip and she saw and we said thank you, and she walked away without a response. We enjoyed a late brunch (1:15 - 2:30 pm) & had a fabulous meal (2 parents + 1 child). We were impressed with the options on the menu, as well as being able to construct a simple meal for our picky kid using the “sides” menu for options (1 plain pancake, a serving of breakfast sausages, & Scrambled eggs), with perfect sized portions. I went with the Canadian breakfast option which was great (my favourite are the home fries - crispy on the outside, soft on the inside) & everything it came with was delicious. Enough leftovers to take home to enjoy later. My husband had avocado & bacon & egg on toast. He loved it. Huge portion and side of home fries. The house blend coffee was really good & includes free refills. Our sever Carly was very friendly, helpful & attentive.
