Flee, Runaway, absolutely AVOID at all cost. ZERO STARS---ZERO STARS---ZERO STARS You would be better off ordering Chinese food from ANY MALL FOOD-COURT. Yes that's how BAD it was. We went in the other night and ordered probably the most popular food dishes available on their menu. It turned out to be the most disgusting gross and barely edible left over scraps. Microwaved soggy reheated orange chicken. Bland and flavorless kung pao chicken. The chow mein was literally Top Ramen noodles with some sprouts plopped on top. When we called to voice our complaints we were met with disdain and withheld laughter. Not even the slightest hint of an apology to make things right. I should have known the moment I walked in the store, when what looked to be the manager was inviting what looked to be friends and family in the restaurant behind the counter to chow down noodles standing there right behind the counter for all to see. Please tell me what restaurants allow people to eat food directly in front of the cash registers? I mean the restaurant was basically empty. If anybody knows of a decent Chinese food restaurant in the Edmonton area please give a shout out to the name of that restaurant because Panda Hut express on the Southside is a disgusting gross garbage pit. Yeah, so what if the staff is friendly, of course they're friendly while they take your money and give you subpar food. And if the panda Hut express on 23rd Ave in South Edmonton is reading this- a full refund would be in order. (Yes we still have it all still packaged up in the fridge cuz we barely were able to eat any of it because it was so disgusting and inedible.) Aug 21-2018, Again bad experience, wanted to use coupon buy 1 get 1 free from reg menu item, n then decided to add their noodle special separately. N they said I can’t combine my order due to coupon. If I want togather then I have to pay full price, when I mentioned it doesn’t say I can’t do that in my coupon n also I wasn’t combining it with noodle special. Still person said it’s our policy, doesn’t matter if it doesn’t say in your coupon. OMG you can never win with panda hut employee, also they never have smile on their face, when I received my order (only noodle I mentioned no pork but they prepared it with pork) lady replaced it but then when it got ready she just almost pushed it toward me n turn around next sec. before I even say thank you

Poor customer service, ordered crispy chilli chicken thinking it would bit saucy, but when we received it , it was like chicken fingers, couldn't even chew it. So dry, with whole red chilies. Asked to change it or make something else out of same chicken but cashiers said oh can't do anything abt it. May be a manager and chef stepped in and said you don't have to eat chilies, oh really... they gave me sweet sour souce to dip in. Usually order from here at least once a month. Easy standard food, simple online ordering. But this time, this evening, there were a few things upsetting. First, on a dinner for 4 order, I was missing an item, when I called, was asked if I had received something else instead, I think if I had received a substitute item I wouldn't have call to find out where my item was. Then was offered a credit for the item on my next order, Like I would remember that credit on my next order, more likely if I remember, they would probably forget, like today when they made my order. When I said I would like the order tonight, instead of owning up to their mistake, I was told "well it could take up to an hour because we are really busy" I expected to hear "We're so sorry, as soon as the driver gets back, Ill have him bring it to you on his next delivery" but why expect prompt customer service anymore. Now on to the quality of the food. The wontons were bland and doughy, I expect under cooked, the filling in the fried cheese and crab wontons tasted grainy like the filling was thinned out by adding lots of flour. Spring rolls were actually tastier than usual, but maybe that was just by comparison. I havent tried any of the other dishes yet, the few bites of everything I had took away my appetite.
