As the new owners of Oxford Learning Waterdown, one of the first event we held was study halls (exam prep along with great food to sustain for long hours)! So we asked our students for their top pizza spot in Waterdown, and Pizza by Johnny won hands down!

When we ordered from them for our study halls, we were absolutely delighted, and more importantly, our students were thrilled! Every slice was a testament to the delicious, authentic flavors that Waterdown locals consistently rave about. The perfectly crafted crust is crispy and flavorful, truly showcasing their commitment to quality pizza making.

Beyond the fantastic taste, their commitment to fresh, high-quality ingredients shines through in every generous topping, including their excellent vegetarian options. And we have to give a special shout-out to their chicken bites – they're fantastic!

What truly sets Pizza by Johnny apart is the exceptional service. Owner Mitesh is incredibly accommodating and a pleasure to chat with. His welcoming attitude, combined with the overall friendly staff, makes every interaction a pleasure.

We have had three events in the last 45 days and Pizza by Johnny is now our official student-approved fuel for successful study sessions at Oxford Learning Waterdown! We wholeheartedly recommend it...

I have always enjoyed pizza by Jonny’s pizza and I still enjoyed my pizza today. My issue is with the service that I got.

1. the phone call to order my pizza took over 5 minutes and I was put on hold 3 times in the time elapsed.
2. I was told an hour to an hour and 10 minutes.
3. over an hour and a half later I called back to inquire and as I was on the phone I saw the driver pulling in. I explained to the driver that it was not his fault but I was disappointed at how late it was.
4. then I get a call from pizza by Johnny where as I tried to explain it was just a frustrating transaction but no big deal. The person basically just tried to speak over me. I said the order took too long and I was put on hold 3 times. He then proceeded to tell me they don’t put customers on hold. At which point I’m now mad. I said I’m done and hung up. This is by far the worst service Ive ever received from this establishment. But it was most certainly enough for me to never repeat business with pizza by Johnny. Too bad cause I liked the food. But I can’t see ever wanting to do business without any reconciliation of some sort. As a note this is not how you should treat a repeat customer ever. Service: Pre-ordered for pick up. Ordered a large chicken tikka masala and a butter chicken poutine. Show up and he says sorry we made you a large butter chicken pizza we'll charge you for medium instead. Thanks but I gave you my number so you can let me know so I can say no. Just to be clear here I would have gladly said I'll take a large tandoori instead but they didn't bother calling just made the choice for me and made me pay for something I didn't want. So be prepared for the possibility of not getting what you want and making you drive out there for something you didn't want on top of that.

The Food: The poutine is terrible there's barely any chicken in it(it is called butter chicken poutine). Will not order from here again even if the butter chicken sauce was okay their poutine is terrible and had less than a gram of shredded chicken in it what the heck?
