Rude staff. Find another good place to go to.
Asked a female staffer for one cappucino and a few treats. It was pretty hot and the server was clearly in a terrible mood. Tried to break the ice and chat while placing my order. She was as unfriendly as it gets.
After waiting around for it to be finalized, she handed me a second cappucino which I had not ordered.
Tiptoeing not to ruffle any feathers, I asked “did I order two?” (I knew I had not). She said “Yes” with the most aggressive look possible.
To cool things down, I said I’d keep it and give it to my husband, who’d be happy to have it.
She then yelled “Thank God!”, very sarcastically, putting her hands up ostensibly, rude to her core (provably the worst server I’ve met so far in Canada).
While I stuck around waiting for my girlfriend’s order, she started whispering with a male co-worker and they kept laughing in a sarcastic manner - pretty much childish, like 5-graders would if they wanted to intimidate someone. Basically horrible service end to end.
Will never set foot here again. This person should not be allowed to deal...
Read moreyikes! I have tried to love this place, but 3 out of 3 visits have gone flat. From customer service, quality/quantity of products, and price, each visit has provided a lack of care on all parts. They charged me more than what the price displayed on their menu was and instead of fixing it for the next customer they said they wouldn't charge me 10 cents for a cup. It was a huge red flag. Where else are they gouging customers?
The customer service lays super flat and the manager/supervisor looks like she's either over worked or just doesn't care to be there.
All cups are about 3/4 full which, if you know ratios, you know that's less than half full. The "salsa and sour cream" is a splash of Valentina and a tiny teaspoon of sour cream. The wrap had a thin slice of ham, a bit of egg, no cheese....
Super disappointed with this cafe and brand.
I love writing great reviews, because I love to brag what Vancouver has to offer, but this one fell flat, really flat. No use crying over spilled milk, on this one. I'll pass and encourage others ...
Read moreOne of my go-to’s and a must stop if you’re in North Van simply to enjoy a coffee by the water! Cafe is all windows for a bright working space with ocean and downtown views, or there’s outdoor seating on a large sheltered patio and upper deck. The hours too! 6:30am for the ones that want to get an early start til 9pm for the late workers. Only con is the washrooms are across the courtyard and not in the cafe. I don’t mind, there’s always nice people around to watch over your things. Haven’t gotten the girl’s name who always wears a beanie but she’s worked everyday I’ve stopped in so far and is super friendly and patient with everyone, along with the other staff. I’m no coffee connoisseur but I do love their drip coffee! The s’mores cookie is also a unique sweet treat. Haven’t tried their other drinks yet but looking forward to it. I heard many people ordering the Spanish latte so that’ll be...
