The Witch's Fix — Local services in Oakville

I used to visit the Hamilton location all the time and was SO excited for the Oakville location to open. I went in yesterday to look around and make some purchases for myself and friends. Not a single person greeted me - even though everyone else in the store was greeted. At one point when everyone else left, one of the employees said “okay it’s dead in here, let’s do it!” and proceeded to get someone from the back to film content out in the store. Even though I was in the store, clearly looking to buy product. Eventually I had to awkwardly walk around them and decided to leave as the whole experience was so disappointing. For whatever reason this happened, I encourage the employees to check their bias and treat everyone in the store equally. It did not hold the energy of a holistic healing store. Beautiful...

I saw the story of how the witch's fix came to be in Oakville on instagram and I was so excited for the store to open up! When I went in to visit it was exactly as shown online and as I'd imagined. I always wanted to own a tarot deck but never knew where to start or it didn't feel right to purchase one. Went in for the first time today, I'm already excited for future visits. The shop keepers were very friendly, the art being sold from local vendors was amazing, and I love the selection of books available! Its far from the typical witchy shops I've encountered from the past in the best of ways possible (properly labelled crystals!) and clearly community minded. I look forward to watching this...
