Sorry, french is my first language not English, but I wanted to right in English for everyone in the region of Ontario to be aware.
By far the worst customer service I ever had in my life. So bad, that I absolutely have to lose time to write a review so everyone should be aware. I went to this restaurant the 15th of July. I hate with 3 persons at approximately 14h00 and it cost me around 250 $. The food was really good. The waitress that we had was lovely and did a really nice job. My car was charging in the parking lot of the Boston Pizza (50 meters from their door) there’s a Tesla Supercharger. When I packed my stroller I in my car I forgot my 2 months old baby bag on the ground (because I took it out to fold the stroller). I was coming from Montreal and going to Toronto. Everything for my baby was inside of it; everything. Clothes, dippers, baby cream etc. All the stock was probably around 400 $. I called at 5 o’clock because I was in Toronto (3 hours from there) and realized that I forgot my bad.
Here goes my conversation with the restaurant (by the way I was super nice with them all the conversation long). :
Hi, I’m really sorry but I forgot my bag with everything inside of it for my 2 years old in your parking lot. I’m 3 hours away, but I could come back tomorrow to pick it up on my way to Montreal. Could you go please see in the parking lot and bring it back inside it would be really appreciated since I don’t have anything with me other than this bag for my 2 months old. Wait a minute sir she replied. She come’s back : Unfortunately I look everywhere inside the restaurant I couldn’t find your bag, I’m sorry. Ah ok thank you I replied, can you look outside please in the parking lot right at the tesla chargers ? She replies : No I’m not allowed to leave the restaurant. I replied : Please everything is in there, bla bla bla. Unfortunately I’m not allowed to leave the restaurant. (literally 15 seconds walk from the restaurant). She puts me on hold. She come’s back : Sorry sir, I went outside and look on the terrace and found nothing. I replied : Please I’m not asking you too look on the terrace or inside I’m asking you to go see in your parking at a 15 second walk next to the tesla charger. She replies : Unfortunately I’m really not allowed to go in the parking lot…. After 2 or 3 nice tentative I asked her to pass me her manager. The manager comes to the phone and she tells me my employee is not allowed to go to the parking lot. I ask her if she can’t go see please. She replies, no I won’t go to the parking lot. Why ? It’s the politic, we don’t leave the premisses… (look at the photo I posted to see how ridiculous that his). I asked her name to call the Head Office and make an official complaint. She tells me : Joyan, Joya, Joye, Joe, (she gave herself 4 different names, and when I asked her to spell it out for me she said, no I won’t spell it out. Everyone knows me just say Joe.
Are they slave at Boston Pizza when the clock in and out ? Are they not allowed to help and take 10 seconds of their time in a situation like that ? A Monday at 17h00, when the restaurant is probably empty and nevertheless if they really did what they told me that I didn’t ask but they say they did (look in the restaurant, look on the terrasse), why not just look where I asked you really politely to help a parent that lost all the stuff of heir newborn ? I worked 10 years in restoration, and this is by far the worst experience of servicing I ever saw by a restaurant.
I bet if I had told them, I forgot my wallet in the parking lot with 1 000 dollars in it, they would have all run to go check if it...

When you have to seat and wait over 15mins to order, there is a problem.
We were about to walk out and hostess had to come and ask us if we were served by anyone and apologize. (Hostess was very kind) When server finally came and doesnt even apologize about letting us seat and wait....not very kind also.
Finally ordered one dish of taco and somky spaghetti and cotton candy shake. Cotton candy drink came with out "cloud" and when I advised the server there is cotton candy cloud missing, she says it must been melted while bringing it here...(instead of apologies) and she got us cotton candy on plate.
I have me and my wife and my daughter and since we only ordered 2 plates and one drink, we only get 2 cutleries, and had to ask for fork for my daughter. 3 sharing plates came stacked, and they were dirty and full of water... and I advised her that they were dirty, and she says she will get us new plates (instead of apologies again), rest plates I had to wipe water myself (these problems were on other reviews....where is common sense to dry those plates .
Food came and I never seen server until we finished... if she came and asked me how the food was, then I would have advised her that pasta was bit cold...
I just felt like paying and leave... because from beginning I was not that pleased about starting experience.
All Boston Pizza locations in Ottawa is great with food and service... not sure why this location is bad.
I didnt feel like tipping at all, but I thought it isnt fair for kitchen staff having bad servers...

But, Manager didn’t reach to us until we approach her and later on Manager She offered us a freaking dessert as an apology . Listen, if we can pay $300-400 as a bill, we can also buy $5 brownie. It should be better if you guys retrain your staff how to deal with these situations.’’ All I say it was totally because of race’’.
LISTEN THE ”Owner” I have to re-edit my review, because I was thinking you already know the meaning of review- But still I want to define you- it means to bring something to the attention to management either it’s good or bad, so you guys can work on the opportunities. But I have seen you are trying to sugarcoat all the situation without going into depth of the scene?? Is this fair??. You are keep saying to your employees for good reviews , I know everyone is running behind likes/ followers or whatever in meantime, Instead of accepting the bitter truth same as you.
I think, I know more people than you in Kingston, If you want any fake good reviews you can contact me through your staff. It might help your buisness to pick up.
And everyone who is giving a fake support to Boston pizza with their valuable words without knowing the story, please ask your Manager/ Owner for the video footage of November 3 around 10:15 PM from bar side, So you can understand and make the decision what was happened?
