Mark's Fine Meats — Local services in Ontario

Marks "fine" meats ruined our Christmas dinner. We ordered our organic, fresh turkey months in advance and when we got it home discovered that there was large pieces of skin missing from the turkey, which I believe the sales assistant purposefully hid by only showing us the good side of the turkey. When we called to complain we were told that it was a 'utility turkey' and that they were 20% cheaper than other turkeys but did not receive this discount. My husband returned the turkey and received attitude and huffiness from the sales assistant which was disgusting as we were the ones who were inconvenienced and left trying to find an organic turkey 2 days before Christmas! This rating is for service. I have been a customer for years but the last few months has been extremely frustrating. Staff not acknowledgingour existence. An older lady looked right at us waiting at the counter today and totally ignored us. I have stood there for long periods of time trying to be noticed. Went to Mark's Fine Meats to source some meaty ribs for smoking. I got 3lbs of short ribs and 1 lb of beef back ribs. It was around $40 so pretty reasonable and a lot more meat on the ribs compared to the grocery store. The service was friendly and fast.
