This is one of my personal favourite spaces in downtown Toronto. It is a rich and diverse neighborhood with new Canadians from all regions of the world and all walks of life. The reason for the 4 stars is that unfortunately there is a lack of public washrooms and even trash cans in the area. There are no trash cans near the Mulberry trees or any the other seating areas near the west end of the park. I hope someone at the City of Toronto(reads this) + can please address this urgent community matter. That being said to be fair (to all involved), the basketball court has been relatively recently revamped and I've witnessed several events held in this area. Watch this space... 😊

So.... as I come inside, I realise that I walked into an empty shack... since the market is EMPTY! NO FRUITS NO VEGGIES! only a few tomatoes, and cucumbers and some rotten carrots where sitting there all lonely. I don't understand how this market is a 5 star.... maybe i came in at a bad time....., but I swear I have never seen anything like this before. nothing like in the photos... there were no fruits or veggies outside as well. Fully Empty! VERY...

They falsely claim that Moss Park Market is an initiative to ensure the Moss Park community has access to healthy produce on a pay-what-you-can basis. This is not true, because if someone asks to pay less than what they demand, they are rejected and humiliated. It is truly a deceiving...
