After reading such great reviews about the Six Burger, it was finally my turn to try it - aaaand it was not what I imagined but much better. The meat was extremely tender and melted in your mouth. It was my first time ever trying beef tongue and to be honest I was to expect. The slaw was such a great combination with the meat and added both crunchy and creaminess to it. I was surprised by how much I loved the slaw and it’s sauce.
At first, I was debating whether to take the risk or to play it save and order a regular burger - but those you can buy anywhere. FAMO had such unique burgers to offer, that you can’t find else where. So I took the chance and I do not regret it.
The FAMO fries are to die for. They are so flavourful on its own that you don’t need a dip or sauce for it.
If you’re looking for unique and delicious burger creations I would highly recommend try one of the burgers here at FAMO Sandwich creations. I am actually looking forward to try some of the other burger creations, they sound so interesting and delicious at the same time.
Will definitely come back! The service was friendly and my order was ready on time for pick up.
The only drawback about this place is that it’s located in a bit of a scratchy area and there are some scratchy people hanging around blocking the entrance. Maybe it was just that day but it made me feel very uncomfortable passing by them. I wished the owner did something about it as it would negatively affect the business and I would be sad not being able to try more of their...

Famo's concept is both simple and modern. Sandwiches. But these are not your usual sandwiches. In fact, I would go so far as to say they are the best sandwiches you've ever tried. Chef Babak uses more unusual meat - brisket, cheek, tongue -as well as the more commonplace - lamb, cod, pork - and makes it extraordinary with the help of complex and thoughtful spice mixes, housemade sauces and slaws, and a lot of imagination. The flavours are perfectly balanced and the textures are divine. In 3 days, we tried the 122 (pulled pork and pineapple slaw), the brisket special, the lamb (slow cooked with turmeric and onion slaw), and the cheek (with truffle mayo). All were delicious and different. The famo fries are salty and delicious, and the house slaws (especially the green apple) are fantastic. Altogether, these make up a phenomenal meal.
The place itself has a trendy and modern vibe, with lots of wood, brick and, monochrome.
It's crazy busy at lunchtime, but they're open until 10, and the evenings are quieter, though you run the risk of them running out of your chosen filling. No matter though, whichever you have, you won't be...

Food wise: AAWESOMEE. I think one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The bread was the perfect texture, slightly crisp but soft inside and bouncy. Meat = tender, flavorful, juicy, soo good. I was going to ask for sauce since the list didn't include any and I am definitely a sauce person (bbq, mayo etc.) but this sandwich definitely didn't need anything. The slaw was crunchy and complemented the meat well, and the cheese (added extra) was melty goodness.
The place is decently sized for a sandwich shop and the interior has a very nice warm vibe. Good place to grab lunch solo or even with a friend. Probably not the best place if you want something more close and personal.
The only thing is it is on the pricier side: my husband and I spent $30 for the two of us and we only got 2 sandwiches that were not very large, but for the quality of the sandwich ... I am not complaining. Seems like the price is accurate for what you get. Forgot to mention, I got the cheek on bun (something like that?) which was...
