I would like to thank Fillip at the bank for helping us yesterday afternoon with the signing authority process for our student club at the University of Toronto. He was very chill, explained everything clearly, and I really loved his energy and personality.
This branch is super convenient, especially since it’s connected to T&T Supermarket, making it a great spot for university students or anyone living and working in the area. There are usually no lines, which is a huge plus.
I normally have bad experiences at TD, so I only choose to go to specific locations. This was my first time at this branch, and it was really good. Fillip even asked if we needed help with any banking transactions, but we were fine. It just shows how great the customer service is here because they really go above and beyond.
I honestly don’t understand why this place has bad reviews, because our experience was great. At the end of the day, it really comes down to the staff, and Fillip made our visit smooth and easy. Thank you again for the...
Read morei love the world we live in these days. when was the the last time you left a review for a positive experience. basically never. i love the reviews, OMG you had to wait 10 minutes at a bank, they needed id, a health card is not an official id, the staff is rude ( they are not). i have banked with TD for 30 years. i was hesitant to leave 1020 branch. But i do enjoy seeing familiar faces that last years here. Probably one of the best local branches in the city. the one thing i love about google is looking at the other reviews a person leaves. basically a person who leaves a negative review also has left 10 other negative reviews and maybe 1 positive review.look at the review from s,s who would ever leave multiple reviews for various pizza nova locations, i wish i had that much time to waste in my life, actually i don't. .they love dogs, which is pretty cool for a bank in 2023. i wrote this review while waiting in line which took...
Read moreUnnecessarily put my bank draft on hold for a full week. The money is needed to pay for sonething and every day I cant access the money the more I am charged. From my interaction with the branch and the reviews I've been reading, it sounds like the branch overly relies on the statement "that's just the policy " rather than listening and doing what they can to help their clients.
The reason I say unnecessarily is because later a different branch with a different similiarly sized bank draft said they said they understood the urgency and would waive the hold period. I even called the bank and they said that the manager was fully capable of waiving putting my money on hold but for whatever reason didn't do it.
If the branch is truly reading this, the only solution is to waive the hold time otherwise the result is the same. I don't see how venting to a generic td email address will help when I can't even email using my actual...
