Melt brings me so much joy, it is one of those places that you walk in, and you walk out transformed. The flavors are so artisanal and you can taste the love and effort put into each scoop. I’ve lived in Vancouver five years and been to all the famous places. Elephant garden creamery, Ernest, rain or shine. They cannot touch melt. It’s like comparing a field of dandelions to a field of lavender. Or dandelions gorgeous? Yes. But are they lavender? No. Do yourself a favor and treat your tongue by coming to melt. Since I discovered this little shop, I have been coming every single week and I’m loving it.

Read moreThose are definitely the most delicious desserts I have ever tasted. The ice cream are perfect, with unique flavors. Various options of hot chocolate, and dipps, including vegan options. Chocolate is also great, they have maybe 10 different styles and flavors.
In addition to this. Every season they have different festivals were they offer unique style desserts, my favorite so far was the hot chocolate festival, every afternoon the place was full with people enjoying their beverages.
The cherry in the top (pun intended :)) is the awesome staff. They're always smiling and are passionate and patient with all the customer, specially the young ones, when they take time to decide and make a lot of questions :)

No regrets though - the raspberry earl grey was delicious. I usually have high expectations for this flavour combination, and Melt did not disappoint! There were two vegan flavours available at the time, as well as some pints and dip bars (ice cream dipped in chocolate, presumably).
