Obsessions Retail — Local services in Vancouver

I recently visited this store to have a pen engraved. I provided a second pen as a reference to ensure the engraving matched my specifications. The store manager assured me that the job would be completed as requested. However, when I picked up the pen, the engraving was entirely different from what we had discussed. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, the store manager claimed the reference pen was only for indicating the location of the engraving, not the style or specifics. The manager refused to offer a refund for the unsatisfactory work. I then purchased a second pen to utilize my store credit and returned, hoping for a better outcome. Unfortunately, the same manager refused to proceed with the engraving and again denied a refund, suggesting I buy something else that I did not need. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing. I would not recommend doing business...

I rarely leave poor reviews, but I find the guys working here not very friendly or helpful. The one girl working here is absolutely lovely, but the guys here don't offer to help with anything, don't greet you, and over the phone one guy hung up before I finished my sentence.

This store has an amazing selection of Jellycats and I've bought several from here. I've also gotten a pen engraved, which the guy forgot to engrave it when I went to pick it up, and I'm glad I checked before taking it home. It took less than 5 minutes for him to engrave it, but on the day I purchased the pen the two guys said engraving won't be possible.

Honestly with the level of customer service I will rather go elsewhere even though this store does have more availability for harder to...

Amazing little store, with a perfect name - definitely the kind of shop I would open for myself, as it contains exactly the types of items I get “obsessed” about. Stumbled across this little gem while visiting Vancouver, and couldn’t resist their relatively large display of Caran D’ache stationery & art supplies (the stuff that dreams are made of!!). And the staff was so sweet and accommodating, after I walked away but returned later, minutes before closing, to buy the item I had been agonizing over, lol.
