Poor ethics and business model, BUYER BEWARE!!
It baffles me to think that companies perceive they still can get away with thinking they can cheat their customers. Despite the countless research that businesses pour into with their hard earned dollars concluding it is much easier and profitable to retain an existing customer compared to winning over new business. Unfortunately relics like this company still exist with their outdated fashion and even worse the way they treat their customers.
Keeping very strict return policies and hiding behind "it is written in the fine print"; you know the very small piece of writing that is on the receipt after you purchase the item. I purchased a piece of clothing a week ago under the impression that I would be able to return the item in 2 weeks with a full refund only to find out a week later that it is against store policy under any circumstance to give a refund for the item, you are forced to choose another item in their poor inventory. With my situation further being escalated to head office, I was informed it is written in the fine print of my receipt regardless of what I was informed when I purchased the item.
To the unethical business practice of designer depot and the warning of any potential customers, congratulations you cheated me out of my one and only purchase! However you have lost my business permanently and there will be no 2nd, 3rd, or 4th purchase....
   Read moreAvoid this store at all costs. The supervisor was very rude and unprofessional. My mom was trying some jackets to find the right fit and we were returning the jackets to the right racks. Then, the supervisor came and shouted at us for trying out the jackets. We were not allowed to try their jackets as that would make her do some work. We approached another staff to complain and were told that theyâd been getting multiple complaints due to the supervisor and the manager wasnât doing anything or disciplinary action.    Read moreOne star is to much, this retail store has the worse customer service I ever encountered, their policy sucks and thereâs no head office that will take responsibility. I bought a jacket and it ripped underneath my arm, it was a defected product. They did not want to exchange it. The manager gave me a non-sense excuse, non exchange or re-found, when it was a manufactured defect. I will never, I repeat, I will never buy anything at designer depot department stores and their franchise store call international. Who ever wants to buy there, I will say that is not worth...
