Consider this as a constructive feedback regarding the customer service experience at this location. Island Way Sorbet has been a delight for all of us and the brand has done well in all the locations. Brand owners invest a lot in maintaining the product standards and quality but at times Poor customer service can affect and impact the experience which brand expect their customers to have. I have experienced this at Island Way Juice & Sorbet location at Vaughan Mills this week. Workers needs to have adequate information about the product and also to understand the customers requirements . I asked the girl behind the kiosk about the menu items and especially for the most popular ones as I was considering to have Island way Sorbets for a corporate outdoor event. She lacked clarity on the product , prices and attending the customers properly. Each topping is extra to the listed price for the products, so I wanted to know the price. The girl responded that if I am looking for a cheaper option I can go with a particular smoothie . I asked questions about each item to gain an overall understanding of the product. There wasnโt any greetings and basic courtesy but unfortunately it wasnโt there . I could understand that the attention could be divided if the kiosk was busy but it was not. Raising all these points as it is critical for the brand reputation.
Providing this feedback to the sales team to improve on the customer experience . Product quality was good and I will reach out to the business team for my requirements . Due to the pandemic, Retail industries have had a major setback already and good customer service is...
ย ย ย Read moreWhile I typically avoid complaining, I decided to share my experience. On Saturday, September 23rd, I visited Island Way stand to purchase a drink after lunch. Initially, the person taking my order displayed a noticeable lack of hospitality and seemed quite irritable. I had to repeat my order three times as she struggled to understand it. Please note, I usually order from the menu, without altering or additions. After placing my order, the cashier turned away and engaged in a conversation with the rest of the team in a language other than English. They giggled and cast glances in my direction. If it weren't for my drink (that was good, no complain here), I would have left immediately as I felt quite offended. Although I couldn't comprehend their conversation, I felt extremely uneasy. It's pretty rude and unprofessional. I do like drinks they make, however, I probably will avoid this place the next time I shop at Vaughan Mills due to the luck of customer service.
EDIT: Interesting way to offer the free drink.... I emailed to you but have not received any reply. Thank you for ignoring your customer for the second...

They use fake products for the Oh Papaya shake
I asked the girl working there what kind of coconut they use and she advised it is pure coconut puree but I noticed it was in a squeeze bottle. I asked to see the bottle because I have a gluten allergy and they refused but advised and assured it is gluten free and is pure coconut puree.
I got a glampse of the bottle and did some googling. They use Coco Real branded Cream of Coconut
THEY USED A WHOLE BUNCH OF THIS IN THE SHAKE. MORE THAN THE PAPAYA ITSELF
BY THE LOOKS OF IT, THEY PROBABLY USED 3 SERVINGS OF THE CREAM OF COCONUT PER ONE SHAKE WHICH IS 700+ CALORIES!!!
When checking the product ingredients there are so many preservatives and weird ingredients. It is definitely not natural
