I signed up for a free in home design consultation through Kimmberly Capone Interior Designs. Courtney came to my home on time to complete the measurements. I was so impressed with the time she took to take the correct measurements. Attention to detail was definitely apparent. Plan that this process will take some time, but well worth it. After the measurements she took her time to go through a a series of products on her tablet to get a sense of both mine and my husbands tastes and to drill down to what We would and would not be interested in. This included tables, chairs, couches and so on. For people like us who have a hard time deciding, this was super helpful. I found this service extremely professional and to be honest I was very impressed! We later went in to the showroom and were shown 3 D renderings of what our space would look like. It was simply amazing! I had previously went to another designer to ask how she could foresee our space being laid out and while the consultation was free she was charging $2,000 plus additional fees for any advice and even more for 3 D renderings and took no measurements until we paid. Here, it was free as part of the consultation. Which honestly is priceless for us non designers. I actually can’t believe they offer this service for free. we ultimately did not purchase at this store because we decided rather than renovating we would purchase a new home. Staff did not make us feel guilty for making this decision after all of the time and work they put in. They were very understanding and supportive. I will definitely be reaching out again when in my new home for this free design service and having Kimmberly’s team set up a few rooms in my home. I find her room renovations timeless, not like others where you could get tired in a few years. They are calming and beautiful just what I would like for my new home. I just bought over a 6000 sq. ft. home and I was interested in using your services and spending over 10-20K for my Family Room + A bedroom Set.

I went through quite some trouble to book the last viewing of my home which I am moving in on April 1st because the designer, Eesha Ahmed, needed to take some measurements of the house. We also subsequently booked an appointment for Saturday at 9 a.m. One of the decision-makers was not able to come on Saturday morning so I requested if we can move the appointment to 3:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. instead. I was told that it was not possible and both appointments will be cancelled. They cancelled 2 hours before Eesha was supposed to come for the viewing and measurements of the house. I do not understand how they can loose business because of a scheduling issue.

I am extremely disappointed because it is difficult to book a showing in COVID. Eesha also advised me that she is available on Mondays and Wednesdays but did not specify a time. I am now being told that she "accommodated me" which I was unaware of. I was also not aware that both appointments need to be booked at the same week. The design process was not clearly explained to me and has caused me nothing but inconvenience.

I would also like to point out that when I initially booked Eesha, another designer called me the following date saying she is going to take over and then it was passed back to Eesha. This has been nothing but an inconvenience and a waste of time. I could have went to other designer stores to inquire about design services or have bought furniture by now given my move in date is slowly creeping up.

I will not be recommending this service or Kimberly Capone to anyone...

Kimmberly Capone Interior Design store is AMAZING. I absolutely love all their collections. The items are glamorous with a hint of lux and very unique. The showroom is spectacular, and sometimes you feel like you want to pick up the entire showroom and place it in your home. The staff there are very nice, and willing to help. The sales assoc. Eunice is my favourite, as she is so customer focused and only wants to deliver the best quality products that suit your home, style and budget- however everyone here is nice from the sales associates, to the designers even the installers and Kim herself. Sometimes you will not really see the owner much at places like this, but I have visited this store about 5 times, and seen Kim there 3 out of the 5 times SERVING customers. This shows she really and truly cares for her business and her clientele. I've read some other reviews about items being overpriced, and they can be found at places such as Walmart and Dollarama - that's not true ! I can almost guarantee you will not find these exclusive items at such stores. In terms of the price, you get what you pay for. You have qualified interior designers, sales associates and a CEO with years of service in the industry - I think it is so worth the price. After all the home is where the heart is.
