The manager, Claudia, is extremely rude, disrespectful, and shouldn't be a manager. Iām not quite sure how she got that role. She has no etiquette or customer service skills. My mom bought a dress at 8pm Wednesday for me and i came to return it friday morning because i bought the same dress in a bigger size. Mind you, my account will corroborate that i have both dresses in different sizes and OBVIOUSLY donāt need two of the same dresses - i just didn't know which one would fit. She refused to let me return my unworn, untouched dress that was simply the wrong size. She said it wasnt in the original condition anymore but i promise there is nothing about the dress that isnāt the way i bought it. Maybe they should put it through a microscope when selling it to a customer if thats what theyāre going to do when the customer tries to return it? I didnāt know i was suppose to deeply inspect the dress before purchasing it from Laura because they would turn around to be so conniving. Claudia also had a very demeaning attitude, continuously interrupted me and ran away without ending the conversation. She's a terrible representative for the company and I hope they seriously reconsider having her as a manager as that is a important role for the functioning of the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a very upsetting experience at Laura ā Vaughan Mills, and I feel completely misled and disrespected.
On April 13, I bought a dress for my daughter. The cashier Tonina asked what the occasion was. When my daughter said it was for her prom on May 28, Tonina told us clearly: āYou have 10 days to return it.ā
The next day, I went to a different Laura store to return the dress, and they refused to give me a refund. They said the policy is exchange or store credit only. I was shocked ā this was never mentioned at the time of purchase.
When I explained what Tonina told us, they said the return policy is written on the receipt. But the receipt only prints after you pay. If this is the policy, why didnāt the cashier tell me before I paid? Thatās misleading.
I donāt read English well and trusted what the cashier said. The dress was never used, and I came back within 24 hours.
I even went back to the same Vaughan Mills location, where I bought the dress, and spoke to the store manager, Nora. Sadly, she also refused to help or take responsibility.
The service was cold and unhelpful. There was no transparency, no respect for what was said during the sale, and no care for the customer.
I will never shop at Laura again, and I do not recommend this...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI visited this location over a month ago in search of something to wear to a wedding. A friend had recommended it, mentioning the selection was larger than most. While Iāve shopped at Laura and Melanie Lyne for years, my experience with service at other locations has often left something to be desired. Frankly, the thought of shopping was a daunting one.
But from the moment I walked in, that changed. After a few minutes of browsing, I was approached by an associate named Noraāand what a breath of fresh air she was! Instantly, I felt hopeful. She asked me a few thoughtful questions and then began pulling pieces for me to try on.
Unlike past experiences where it felt like the goal was simply to make a sale, Nora truly listened to my needs. We talked about what worked for my body type and what didnāt. I tried on several outfits, but when I stepped out in the two-piece navy pantsuit with embellished sleeves, we both knewāthis was the one! It was written on both our faces.
Thank you, Nora, for everything you did that day. It wasnāt just about the purchaseāit was the care, sincerity, and genuine attention you brought to the experience. I wasn't expecting that, and it made all the difference.
From now on, Iāll be shopping only at this locationāand...
