I was told of the place through my brother who had gotten his PS5 pro controller repaired here, he went on about how good the service was and how happy he was so I decided to take my very stick drift heavy Quest 2 controllers there. While my brother was the one to drop off the controllers, the communication and clarity Josh provided about ordering new parts, when they would arrive, when he would be finished and the fact he had never worked on controllers like this so far was amazing! when the day came to pick up my remotes (which was only the next day) it was an absolute pleasure to walk in and be met with the actual owner of the business. Since he wasn't able to test them due to not having a Quest 2 on standby I brought in my own to verify the problem had been fixed of which it had! (and he said that if they break within the next 6 months i can bring them back) It was an amazing experience to talk to and to do business with him, ended up leaving a $5 tip as he very much deserved it, you can tell he is passionate about the work he does

Conclusion! Amazing and quick service and lots of clarity which is definitely not the norm nowadays but means a lot. Very reasonably priced repairs, I got both controllers fixed for $65 and a new pair is $200 and i am sure the sticks he used will far surpass the life of the old ones. overall really enjoyable experience

Next time something tech related of mine breaks I know exactly who to go to, and I'll be spreading the word to...

I bought a brand new phone at Walmart a week ago. It locked on me. No idea how. I went to return it. It's obvious it's defective. I have no clue how to lock a phone to begin with. The manager wouldn't take it back locked. Still within my 14 day return policy. A We were recommended through a store downtown to come to Evolution Electronics. I'm so happy! Josh and his co-worker (I'm sorry I can't remember his name) both very knowledgeable!!! They took the time that afternoon because I was on a time crunch to return it. They unlocked it!! They took my original broken phone that fell in water. Got it open and managed to transfer all my data that i thought was lost. These guys are incredible! I purchased a new phone there. It was practically the same phone i returned to Walmart but 500.00 cheaper and a better phone. They set up all my photos that Walmart manager claims they can't help with. But another employee said he can. I got all my contacts back that didn't transfer to the locked phone. I can't say enough about these 2 young men! They know their technology! Thank you...

Came across their store after doing some research online. Looking where to get my ps5 controller repaired. Glad I found them, it saved me a trip to Yonge and Eglinton. Controller had the usual stick drift. Called them on the civic holiday not realizing they were closed. The owner got back to me via text and took the time to answer my questions on his day off. Being a Gen X this showed me dedication to his business and craft a big plus in my book. Took my controller to them today. First impressions his store is immaculate, staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Again big plus in my book. My controller was fixed in about 1 hour. That was impressive. They replaced both the sticks. Controller feels better than when it was factory fresh. Heck it's probably the placebo effect but just had my first game of Fortnite after the repair and it was a win. I'll be taking my PS4 controller to them to get it repaired ( gotta find it first 🤦). If you're in town go see them, definitely won't be disappointed. Hopefully the drift stays away...
