We stayed for three nights with my husband and our less than a year old baby. The booking process was smooth and everything was as promised on the website. The apartments was comfortable although we had to ask for an extra clean up since we found some dirty glasses upon arrival.||Satff was helpful and friendly. The only negative aspect was that they could not provide for a cot or crib or anything safe enough for our child to sleep in, even though I called in advance with the request. As a result we had to place a mattress on the floor for him to sleep. Fortunately we had booked a two bedroom unit which, given the very low rates they run on was quite inexpensive.||Also, the kitchen had very few utensils. It was more of a place to make breakfast and heat up some take away. ||Both bathrooms were comfortable and the building has 24 hour surveillance. ||So far I would rate the apartments with four stars but for their location. Santiago's centre is grim but still has a few blocks that actually look nice and offer a few restaurantes here to sit down for dinner or lunch and feel a nice atmosphere. However those are located further to the side of the Mapoche, neare the Museum of Fine Arts (Bellas Artes). The apartments Torre Tagle are located in the very Plaza de Armas which is a place for prostitutes and drunkards at night. Granted, the building is very safe but still you need to get in and aout and so we had to take taxis to move basically everywhere. Apparently there are also pickpocketers around during daytime (I was told not to wear a silver charm and necklace).||Would I go back? Only if I couldn´t find the same comfortable and well sized apartment in a better neighbourhood. ||Wi fi worked very poorly on the first day, then they...

Read moreI stayed at the Torre Tagle for 5 nights. The reception was not as good as I expected and the employees didn’t know how to speak English at all. The first night was terrible, the room was filthy, and the heater was broken (it was about 6 degrees Celsius outside, or 43 Fahrenheit). After we complained to the manager she was able to fix the heater by the 3rd night, about the dirt she explained that the lady who cleans the rooms was sick (we obviously did not believe that) but at the 2nd day the room was very neat. ||||At the end I actually enjoyed my stay at the Torre Tagle, the room was very appealing, there was free wi-fi available, and since the manager was able to solve all of our problems our stay turned out to be very pleasant. ||This condo complex is also very well located (it is about 2 minutes from the Plaza de Armas metro station and there are lots of good and affordable restaurants around the area).||||I would probably search for better options the next time I visit Chile, but still Torre Tagle was a very affordable option and was able to fulfill our needs during our one week stay.||||ps: Like it is said on the other reviews, Torre Tagle is not a hotel but a condo complex, which means that services like breakfast, lunch and dinner are not included in the...
