I love cream, freshly whipped for scones, cooking cream for spaghetti sauce, or just sour cream dip, everything with cream just fascinate me and make me think that the cream would top up the flavour of the dish. Therefore, when I first saw this restaurant on social media, I was determined to try it out as soon as possible.
Look at the smooth swirls of cream! Oh my goodness! It was freshly whipped and so silky! It had a thin texture, yet very rich in taste.
Just looking at this cream is so therapeutic! Bubbles appeared and disappeared occasionally when I was taking pictures due to the heat from the curry beef udon underneath.
I was very busy enjoying the dish, so I didn’t take more pictures after this. But I guess this one gives you a brief idea of what’s underneath the not-too-thick layer of cream - udon, broccoli, mushroom and beef in curry. The curry was mildly spicy, and the cream did definitely add texture and taste to enrich the curry. The cubes of beef was very very delicious indeed! Udon was al dente and so gorgeous.

The Kobekyu Katsu set is a must try. The beef is tender and juicy. And it is a special experience to cook the beef on the iron rock provided (we placed the beef on the iron rock for 20 seconds each side after the rock is fully heated)
