Did research before coming to Cartagena and knew I wanted to buy here. Came in on our shopping free time and was lucky enough to have whole store to look and get fabulous one to one service. I found my perfect ring, but the sizing would take longer than we had time allowed. They offered to get us a taxi but we left previous purchases on bus so we were considering splitting up. But not to worry they saw my tour sticker and contact my guide to arrange a late pick up. We had an escort to meet our bus too. Not only am I happy with the quality of my purchase but they truly went above and beyond for service and our safety. Highly recommend

My wife and I stopped into Mister Emerald, based on the reviews we had read. We're very happy we did! There are many emerald jewelers in historic Cartagena but I'm confident in saying Mister Emerald is the best! We were please that Lee and Pedro were both in the store and they spent much time talking with us, educating us about emeralds, and making recommendations. We felt as though we had been long time customers of theirs, based on how they welcomed us and treated us.

This is the ONLY place to go for emeralds. We had been twice in the last 12 years by cruise ship and had been totally satisfied with Lee's quality of service, expertise about emeralds and jewelry, and warmth of welcome. This time, we flew to Cartagena specifically to visit his store. Lee and his son-in-law, Pedro, greeted us warmly at their new spacious store in the old town.
