NATURAVE — Local services in Monteverde

This was one of our favourite spots in Costa Rica during our tour of this lovely country. The views from the two eco-domes are truly memorable across the canopy of the rainforest. The breathtaking sight of a ‘party’ of toucans flying past will remain in our minds. Every effort has been made by the hosts to provide high quality and interesting accommodation which fits beautifully into the natural environment. Each eco-dome is fitted with a luxury ground floor bathroom and first floor bedroom with a door to a canopy-level viewing platform. Also on the ground floor is a covered kitchen/dining area partially open to the elements providing another great opportunity to view the wildlife. This is definitely a place to escape and recharge. Naturave is in easy reach of the small town of Santa Elena and a range of exciting outdoor activities including zip wiring and the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve with its rich wildlife, hanging bridges and walking trails. The dome is a work of love. The lights, smells and aesthetic are one of a kind and will certainly be the crown jewel of your trip to the country. The dome is close to town but feels like you’re in the middle of the rainforest the rainforest with great temperatures and spectacular views. Vero & Mau are the kindest hosts who are down to earth, genuine people you wish you were cool enough to be friends with.

My wife and I stayed two nights in this place and really enjoyed it. The place is beyond beautiful. Cute interior and amazing balcony with a an awesome view , in the middle of the woods.
