If you love sunsets and travelling through Monteverde, this place is definitely for you! The place is appropriately named as you can view the sunset right from the front porch of your apartment overlooking Puntarenas. It is close enough to town that it is possible to walk - but make sure you're ready for some uphill exercise - you are in the mountains after all! :)

David, the owner is super nice and very informative - if you need help with arranging tours in the area - he has you covered! Make sure to ask him about a night tour in advance if you really want to see the wildlife in Monteverde - he has the best connections!

The apartment is spacious, has warm water, good wifi and kept very clean! What I also loved about this place was being able to watch the stars at night - it was dark enough the sky was shining with stars!! The property is also very large and there is a little hiking trail that takes you down to the river on the property and there's even a very cool ficus tree just out back!!

Highly recommend staying here if you don't want to be in the hustle-bustles of the small square of Santa Elena but close enough to everything and it's still quiet enough to enjoy the peacefulness...

I couldn’t have stayed at a better place! The garden was so beautiful and beds were comfortable and the showers were AMAZING!
