I recently visited this French café and was absolutely delighted! The atmosphere is wonderfully cozy, reminiscent of small cafés on the streets of Paris. The selection of pastries is impressive: croissants, baguettes, éclairs, and macarons – all incredibly fresh and delicious. The croissants, in particular, are to die for – they just melt in your mouth!
The staff is very friendly and attentive, always ready to help with recommendations and to explain the different items. The coffee here is top-notch as well – aromatic and strong, just as it should be in a French café.

They do have two problems though: on a couple of different occasions things were missing from my order (despite being paid for) and I noticed only after unpacking at home, and the owners have a pushy seller attitude which they should dial back a bit - especially if they struggle to properly pack an order of 5+ items.

Read moreNothing French about this bakery. The pain au chocolat is the least pain au chocolat looking I ever saw and their croissant was nothing special, not buttery enough. I asked if everything on display was freshly made but I don't see how the NY roll I had was from today. Finally, they mixed up my order but I took away the pastries so I just noticed when I got home.
The pastries were still edible though, but it's really nothing special compared to Prague's top places and it's nowhere near deserving a 4.8...
