Petit Cafe — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Extremely bad service.

First I order coffee while I wait for my friends to arrive, and they never came with coffee. Afterwards I go up to order food and I tell them explicitly one of my friends is milk allergic and please have no butter on bread. Then they bring bread with butter. We tell the waitress again he’s allergic, she goes back and brings other bread with butter.

Lastly, I go into restaurant and ask them another time if we can get bread with no butter on it and they say “of course, but we can’t know it if you don’t tell us”. Luckily another waitress overheard us and said to that person, we had told it from the beginning.

During our visit to Copenhagen, we stumbled upon this charming café by chance – and what a lovely surprise! Petit Café has such a cozy atmosphere and serves delicious, freshly made sandwiches. Our knowledge of Danish is practically non-existent, but the friendly young lady running the café spoke perfect English and made us feel very welcome. We liked it so much that we went back later in the week to try their toasted avocado sandwich (with or without egg) – absolutely delicious and highly recommended! Food. Well I am not a foodie. I describe myself more as a coffee addict but try food here. Toast selections, vegeterian options, butter taste fresh salad. Eggs and avos… all so delicious. Sweets, cookies with a cup of coffee deliziosa 🤌🏼
