Iki Sushi — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

The food was very average, it is quite pricey for the quality and above all service was terrible. We were waiting at our table for more than half and hour while the waitresses were eating and socializing when many tables were awaiting service. When we were able to order food, it took a while to get it to the table and there was a missing sauce. We ordered a gin&tonic and we couldn’t drink it because it was so bad, we asked for a lemon slice to try to make it better but we were surprised to hear the waitress say she would have to check if they had lemon or lime available, which was funny because we knew they had since we had used some slices for a starter we got. The sushi was very average quality, it wasn’t rolled properly. Overall it was not a good experience, even at the end we had to approach the cashier because we did not get our bill to the table. I ordered takeaway from their Wolt menu. I'm very allergic to shellfish and ordered the tuna and salmon menu, and if you read the menu it does not list any shellfish in these two options and there is no list of ingredients. The rolls had shrimp and when I called to complain because I couldn't eat it, the restaurant simply said this was my own fault.

This kind of unprofessionalism is rare in Denmark. I did read the menu and the menu does not provide any information, I had to toss my dinner in the trash and throw 400 kr out the window. I am so angry with this attitude. I had no ill intent, I only wanted to eat something for dinner.

Their website is deceiving and says they have a 4,5 rating on Google - if you look at their trust pilot reviews you will see more transparency.

I just graduated from my masters so my fantastic bf found it suitable to spoil me with ad libitum. Unfortunately, the sushi was dry and packed almost 0 flavor. The edges were curling upwards and hardened! The tuna was grey, not pink, which suggests it was either off or from a can. The service was rather pathetic as well as we called to get a table and was told that it was fully booked even though there were tables available when we arrived later than we'd of liked. Also, there's not much room to think highly of service consisting of ordering off a sticky ipad. The tables also are about as small as a childs play desk, making the trays of sushi and elegance rather conjested. Iki was icky, and i won't attend again and cant reccomend.
