tldr; food absolutely horrible, beer selection awesome let me start with beer selection...in our case lot of IPAs and it was great; service-wise good as well, food wise... absolutely horrible...we went for the combo and when we were enjoying our beers, "food" arrived...and I don't get it .. they have nice brioches, homemade fries and patty is nicely medium rare ...but once you have a bite it's absolutely horrible... it's all unseasoned, then the saltines from bacon kicks in which makes it even worse, so you then turn to fries...they say "fermented" ... in what? some tasteless ingredients? long story short... I am used to finish every my meal and then finish 1/2 of my gf portion...but in here both of us finished midway through and had to go for a beer instead (we would eat less but after 26k steps through the day we had to eat) I'm still getting stomach ache while writing this review...and i haven't mentioned the price when you compare it to any other European country... soo much potential and so horrible execution..please do something about it ( e.g. internal blind tasting) because I can't believe it's a Danish style since local pastries are one of the best in the world...

I like the restaurant and the food is good in general, the best dish in my opinion is the stuffed turkey and I also liked the cauliflower bao bun. I am not excited about the burgers. We visited twice, and got the same bad vibes from one specific waitress. The second time our nice dinner though was disturbed by the waitress who came to collect our dishes when we were done with our mains after 25 minutes and said "wow, this was fast. It feels like I was here 5 minutes ago." I found it an unacceptable and rude comment. So even if we were in a hurry to catch a train or a bus or if we had a meeting but wanted a bite before, we had to be judged by the waitress if it took us 25 minutes to eat a main course. Which I find a rude comment. But even if we didn't have to do anything after, why the comment?

the entire place in general is very pretty and well-lit with giant windows. Very nice tasty burgers. I went there after I saw it was a recommended place to get a beer. Being from the PNW, I had not had a decent beer experience in Denmark before going to Brus. I got the Foerder barrel aged beer, it was exactly the right amount of sour. And I really enjoyed it the burgers were tasty and very very filling. While the fries were crispy all the way through and having never had fermented fries it was an enjoyable experience that I would repeat. the staff was very friendly and nice I like how you could fill out an order sheet and hand it over at the bar pay and then wait for your food to be delivered. Next time I'm in Copenhagen I will definitely go back

Where to begin. From my placement of my stars it should tell you how my experience went. It could have been all 5 stars though. It was unfortunately the service and second serving of food that was bad, real bad. The positive. Fantastic venue, everything looks great. We didn’t have a booking but they found a table for us. Quick service. Ordered drinks and food. Quick with the drinks, all is well. Food came quickly as well. It looked very nice both meals. All good until I asked what was on my chicken and waffles. There was a white mayo/cream drizzled all over the meal along with the maple syrup and sriracha hot sauce. Which wasn’t listed on the menu. I went and got the menu to see what it could be. No help, so I asked the waitress. The waitress didn’t know, she had to ask the kitchen. I thought it was mayo, she comes back and said it was yogurt. I guess nothing wrong with that, as long as they list it on the menu. She asked if it was alright, I said actually no it’s not listed so I would like to send it back and get it without. She said that if they had to list all the ingredients then the menu would be huge. I agree but yogurt or mayo isn’t an ingredient. It’s a specific topping that I could be allergic too. She brought it back to the kitchen then came back and then rather rudely asked if there was anything else that needed to be removed. I said no just that one thing that wasn’t on the menu. Anyways, the new fried chicken and waffles came back and it was right now and tasted good. But it was half the amount of chicken compared to the first time. Too funny. How can you send half the amount of chicken as you did the first time. It could have been a fantastic dinner. Good food, great venue, good first half of service, bad second...

Me and my girlfriend were looking forward to eating here and getting some beers, unfortunately we were never even seated. We entered around 7pm on a Monday, looked around and saw that about half the tables here were full. We saw the sign that said "Please wait to be seated" so that's exactly what we did. I'm generally a patient person and I always give the benefit of the doubt when it comes to busy restaurant workers but slowly my emotions went from confusion, to embarassment, to anger. While we waited standing at the door feeling like idiots we saw 2 people behind the bar, 2 people working on food prep, and one person waiting tables. As we waited I was able to make eye contact with nearly every one of these employees, just to watch them pretend like they didn't see us. Again I get if people are busy but a simple "Someone will be with you shortly" goes a long long way. By the end I was staring daggers into one of the bartenders while I watched him actively try to avoid my gaze while he dried a glass. We walked out and straight into another busy restaurant where we immediately heard a "one minute I'll be right with you". It all seems silly and inconsequential now but at the time we really were looking forward to the restaurant and left with a sour mood that...
