It's okay, be prepared to barter and get harassed constantly. I would never send my wife here without me right beside her. If you're American they will inflate the price 1000%, we got 6 little string braclet/ necklaces for kids back home and one guy pulls out a calculator and starts "adding up" everything and comes out to $131!!!! I actually started to laugh and walk away and he cleared the calculator and gave it to me to tell him "my price" I know in the past we got the little bracelets for $3 and necklaces for $5 so I put $25 just to be easy and of course he tried to tell me how high quality they were.... blah blah blah..... I just told him $25 or I can keep walking, long store short he took the $25. Good place to get little souvenirs but before they tell you what "it cost" think to yourself how much is it worth to you and don't go over that, TRUST ME there are 20 other vendors with the same stuff keep walking just about everything in there is super cheap they just throw out big numbers hoping you are a...

Once you firmly establish that you're doing things at your own pace, they lay off a bit but you have to be firm. Another thing is the markup on the prices- you can safely haggle down from 30% to even 50% depending on how serious you are about walking away from the whole thing. Overall, it's a quaint couple place to spend a couple of hours getting your souvenir shopping done....

However the prices are absolutely ridiculous. $40 for a hat, where the resort sells the same one for $20, $15 for a magnet. Also none of the prices are printed on the items, so the vendors just make up a price when you go to checkout. They get upset when you haggle down the price, and always tell you that you're crazy when you tell them what your willing to pay. (I wasn't even low-balling, just being reasonable) personally I would not go back as they are too pushy and don't...
