We visited the Mediterranean restaurant during our stay at the resort, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The highlight for me was definitely the beef stew — flavorful, tender, and perfectly seasoned — along with the pavlova for dessert, which was light and delicious.

A special mention goes to Wilmer Luis, our waiter, whose outstanding service truly made the evening memorable. We’ve run into him before at the breakfast buffet, and he consistently goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. His attentiveness and friendly personality were the best part of our visit.

While the restaurant itself is not our absolute favorite among all the dining options at the property, Wilmer’s service made it a standout for us. The location is lovely, with outdoor seating that gives a nice open-air feel. They also have a kids’ menu, which my 6-year-old enjoyed — a great touch for families.

Discriminated and Dismissed:

As an international traveler who relies on my service dog for crucial assistance due to health reasons, my recent journey here turned into a harrowing ordeal. Despite traveling nearly an hour to enjoy the beach, I faced discrimination and humiliation at the hands of the resort staff, who callously ejected me and my invaluable service companion from the premises. Shockingly, they disregarded the paperwork and documents I provided to support my need for a service animal, instead opting to escalate the situation by involving law enforcement.

What's even more appalling is that as I left, I witnessed a Dominican man freely enjoying the beach with two unleashed dogs. The blatant double standard and lack of empathy shown towards me and my service dog are not only unacceptable but also deeply...
