El Gouna Golf Club Management...poor management and administrative handling group booking. They don't answer phones befor 10:00am ?? Despite our efforts to coordinate in advance, the administration teamâ managed Mr. Fad... (General Manager) and Ms. Sar.. (Booking Officer)â lacking professionalism in managing group bookings and handling invoicing reqierment for foreign companies. Their inability to issue a proper invoice on behalf of an international entity caused unnecessary delays and confusion, reflecting a serious gap in Golf adminstration operational standards.
Further- I was disappointed by the inconsistent and unfair treatment of my Egyption national children. Mr. Fadaly refused to acknowledge my younger son's Egyptian birth certificate as proof of nationally and insisted on charging him as a foreigner simply because he does not yet hold an Egyptian ID. This was despite showing the Egyptian Birth certificate, and accepting his older brother as Egyptian national! Such arbitrary and contradictory decisions are not only unjust but also reflect a troubling lack of cultural sensitivity and administrative coherence.
This experience has left a negative impression on both myself and our international guests watching the conversation. đĄ
EL-Gouna Golf club management need to review policies and staff customer service training, like other Golf clubs in Egypt and internationally.
This is my last time I would recommend or bring any guests to Golf...
Read moreAfter a half lesson at about 12:30pm May 30th 2023 with the (older) pro whose name I know, I was not feeling well and was blacking out. I took a few steps into the shade and sat down on the damp sand near the flowers. My condition kept getting worse, I was extremely nauseous and I also concentrated very hard on my breathing so as not to faint. Half lying, half sitting, I explained to the pro that something like this hadn't happened to me since puberty and that I'd had slight problems with my intestines since that morning... Very slowly (under the silent observation of the pro) I felt better and was able to sit upright again in the damp sand. I told the pro that unfortunately I had to cancel the lesson. He took notice, collected the balls, didn't come back to me after that and just left the driving range!!! Not once did he ask me how I was feeling... After another 10-15 minutes of sitting and recovering I found a toilet after a long search, continued to rest near the restaurant, gathered strength and then went to the reception to cancel my booked pro-hour for the next day to be on the safe side. The three Egyptians there had learned from the pro that I had not been well and acknowledged my cancellation with an "it's ok"
What training do the pros have there - don't they teach them how to deal with first aid cases? Incidentally, it could have turned out differently (I'm 60, but in top shape and quite sporty) Don't the professionals take responsibility for their students? What kind of culture is that, where is the empathy, the willingness to help?!?!
Read moreIf youâre looking for top-tier rudeness and a truly baffling customer service experience, El Gouna Golf Club is the place to be.
We asked for a simple tour of the golf course â you know, to see what the hype is about. The response? A firm no, because apparently, we might get hit by a golf ball. Safety first, right? But then, in the same breath, they told us we could walk the course. So walking aimlessly through a live golf course is totally safe, but a guided tour is where they draw the line? Makes total sense.
To top it all off, the manager showed up with an attitude that could win awards. Rude, dismissive, and impressively uninterested in listening â he literally walked away mid-conversation. We were left standing there like confused extras in a bad sitcom.
Honestly, if you enjoy being talked down to and love inconsistent logic, this place is a must-visit. Otherwise, save your time (and dignity) and go somewhere that actually...
