Kirvem Hot Stone Steak — Local services in Gamsha

Our overall experience was good with just a couple hiccups! We went to this place to celebrate a birthday so we made reservations online that included a request for birthday cake.

Upon arrival the hostess clearly did not understand what it meant to have a reservation and she pointed away and told us to seat ourselves. She was not very welcoming and she needs training.

The waiter we had was a breath of fresh air, he was very polite, knowledgeable about the menu and did a good job timing our courses.

The food- the presentation was nice. The hot stone steak could have used a little more seasoning but was tasty and prepared well, and the seafood dish was flavorful and hot. The food highlight for me was the Greek Salad, super fresh, seasoned well and delicious!

Because the hostess did not get the reservation process, the team was not aware of my request for a birthday cake for my husband. After telling our waiter about the reservation, he set out to correct the error. We were pleasantly surprised with a cake snd birthday serenade after we requested our check. They did a great job making my husband feel celebrated which was the intention of the meal. We shared the cake with everyone in the restaurant

I can’t express enough how fantastic this restaurant is. From the first night we came , to now on our last day , the food , service, cleanliness, atmosphere, staff have been absolutely 100% . We are staying all inclusive in a nearby hotel & it can be a little repetitive, so we always go out for dinner. What an amazing find this restaurant is! We have eaten camel steak, fillet steak, Texas burger & steak sandwiches. There is so much flavour in the food & top quality steaks. They melt in your mouth 😋😋 I honestly am sad to leave these great guys today but we will be back . We are on holiday again in Egypt in a few weeks time but in Makadi Bay Hurghada . We have already planned to get a taxi over to El Gouna so we can have dinner in Kirvem. I can’t wait . Thank you to all the waiters, bar staff & chefs. You have completed our holiday...

Return visit from last October as we were made very welcome with table mezzies. Ordered Steak on a stone and it was flamed at the table which looked very impressive. Everything arrived together and it was a perfect evening with a nice bottle of red.

Sadly we can not say the same for this visit, very poor table service. No mezzies or steak flamed this time. Our steak arrived without any sides and we had to ask for them. We got the fries but then had to ask for the vegetables, time the vegetables arrived we had finished our meal. Pretty much ignored all evening, my board was taken away but my husband sat with his for another twenty minutes. It was finally removed and then we were left for another long period of time before we asked for the bill. Such a shame as we made a point of returning to this restaurant but will not...
