I love French wines and just knew the basics before spending two days with Frederic and his compatriot Henri. We took the right bank the first day and the left the next. I know that we only scratched the surface but we got a "taste"... literally... for the area. Frederic does not take you to the "run of the mill" estates but to winemakers who are producing good quality wine for the price.... and they are worth every cent. His knowledge, the beauty of the terrain and the magnificent wines made me want more and an opportunity to delve deeper in some of the areas individually. A fantastic time and I will indeed be back.

Frederic is a very knowledgeable and personable guide, and by the end of the day we felt like we had made a friend. The tour of St-Émilion town, a delicious lunch, and tours of two wineries in the area were the highlights of our week-long visit to Bordeaux. Both winemakers we met were charming characters - and of course, most importantly, made excellent wine. My wife and I went on an amazing tour of Bordeaux with Frederic! He picked us up and we went on an all day tour to some amazing wineries. My wife wanted to go to Chateau Clerc Milon and Frederic was able to get us a tasting there. He was also able to take us to some of his favorite wineries and explained the entire process. It helps having someone that used to own a winery take you on a tour of the region...he even identified a bottle one of wineries was serving was corked! We highly recommend...
