Made a reservation and was so excited to eat here. We showed up 30 min early and the place was fairly empty so we asked to be seated. They immediately led us to the least desirable table… in the back between two families. We asked for window seating since they were all open.

Once sat we were seated for 20-25 min… with servers passing us with unfriendly faces and not one person asked for even a simple water order. I tried to get attention several times and nothing.

The only time I got attention was 15 min after the wait a server came just to move my water bottle under my table with no other acknowledgment, ask for permission or friendly smile.

Then the same waiter later was showing other guests just walking in to their table… while there was two other hosts at the front. I’m not sure if asking for a better table was the reason for this but it was a very strange experience being in a restaurant that wasn’t so big and being completely ignored after a half hour… meanwhile everyone else around us and even walking in was getting attended and served. We walked out and the same waiter looked right at us...

Unfortunately we had a very unpleasant intere action with your hostess at the time of our last night visit. When we came in at 8pm for our reservation time hostess sat us the table right at the entrance to the restaurant. I politely ask for any other table to which this girl refused to accommodate us due to the fact that all other empty tables were reserved. But we made a reservation as well and most of the were available. She replied those tables are for regular customers only. And this is the worst answer I heard during my many years of traveling all over the world. We own the travel agency in New York and our recommendation accepted by many of our clients. I ask for the the manager and her name but she was very rude and refused to give it to me. Later we found that her name is Leonora or Eleonora but I am not sure . But she is the one who we paid our bill at the end of the dinner. Anyway our food was very tasty and fresh and our waiter was wonderful. Unfortunately I can not give you 5 stars because of your hostess. She doesn't belong in any respectable restaurant except...

Never come back to this place... I recently moved to Bordeaux with my family and we were so excited to spend our very first weekend dinner there, but it ended up with being fully ruined by their poor service and foods. First of all I had successfully made a reservation online, but when I arrived there they haven’t even registered my name on their customer list. They were suspiciously looking down on us and reluctantly appointed a table which were close to the toilets. Then we ordered some main dishes with French fries as a side, but the portion they gave us extremely tiny. Finally I couldn’t bare with it and told them what is going on with it and they said like “you can have some more if only you want”... if only you want...? The prices weren’t cheap nor reasonable at all, how could they say something like that.. On a good side, oysters and wines were okay but note that they are not prepared by them, they are all from elsewhere... I saw other Asian families who seemed to be unsatisfied with this restaurant and we had a sympathetic eye contact. Dear tourists, please avoid...

When we arrived, a waiter was ready to redirect us to our booked table, after which the service was great and very fast (appreciated since we were very hungry). Good recommendation on the menu from the waiter. The food was very good, flavours well balanced and great wine pairing. The portions are also very generous, great value for the price. Two minuses, the noise level and… I ended up spending the night very (very) sick. I doubt that it came from the dishes themselves as everything looked very neat fresh and really tasty. One thing that could be the culprit is the little jar of salt on the table (we called it the thousand nibbles’ jar with my partner), where everybody who sat there previously might have dipped their fingers to help themselves. That’s where I would put a warning at least for myself for future visits, I can’t imagine this to be very safe considering it is the high season and the restaurant very busy. But overall, very very good place, would recommend !

We had dinner at Brasserie Bordelaise in Bordeaux, and it was a pleasant experience overall. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated, and our order was taken quickly. However, we were seated at a high table, which was a bit uncomfortable for dinner. For our meal, I had the beef confit aux vin de Bordeaux, while my wife chose the tuna tataki. The beef was tender and almost melted off the fork, but I expected a bit more depth of flavor in the overall dish. It was served with potato purée, which was good. My wife's tuna tataki was well-prepared, with the meat finely roasted and the flavors well-balanced. For drinks, we had a glass of red wine from Bordeaux and a Lillet. Both were satisfactory but not particularly memorable. Overall, it was a nice dining experience, apart from the discomfort of the high table. While I would explore other restaurants in Bordeaux next time, I don’t regret the meal we had here. In total, we paid around €40 per person for the meal and wine.

Also heard this was one of the better restaurants in Bordeaux so we wanted to try. We had a reservation but for a weird reason it came up as the next day but the staff were nice enough to still accomodate and seat us. Started off with 2 red wines from Bordeaux. Some complementary bread was given with Pate de Foie de Porc. For a starter we ordered 4 David Herve Oysters. We aren't big oyster fans but needed to try here. We were once again reminded why we aren't oyster fans. I ordered the tartare with mashed potatoes and salad. My girlfriend ordered the Ox Cheek cooked in red wine. This also came with mashed potatoes and roasted carrots. Both dishes were great. Flavor of the tartare was on point and the tenderness of the ox cheek made it taste super good. Amazing meal and happy to try this place.
