City Wheels Paris Tours CITROËN TRACTION — Local services in Paris

This review is long over due. Me and my friend visited paris September 22nd of 2023 for a full week. We originally booked this car tour for our first day of arrival, however closer to date, we realized the weather would be gloomy and rainy and a car tour wouldn’t make sense.So we had to contact them to reschedule . We booked via 3rd party (viator) but after some research found their main website. called and emailed them to see if they could cancel our already existing reservation and let us book for the following day. They did not answer the phone (guessing time zones) but were time appropriate in responding to our email. Rescheduling wasn’t a hassle like we thought it would be and we were good to go. They gave us a few courtesy emails and texts to confirm if we were still good to arrive on time to our car tour.

Now to the actual car tour….AMAZING.The vintage car looks just like the pics. The inside is ehh but the roof and spaciousness is everything.Best car in town,we were turning most tourists on foots heads feeling like royalty especially when ppl were taking pics of the car while we were inside lol. I want to give Laurrent his special shout outs. Very nice down to earth man. He arrived on the dot, and even risked getting pulled over by the police for stopping the car at hot spots to take pretty photography level pics (with his phone) We were instructed to come out the roof of the car at the hotspots in the middle of traffic within a 1 minute timespan so it felt like a mini car photoshoot lol (be prepared to be prompt when it comes to that) while we also soaked up the French history he was educating us on. Very knowledgeable man. Gave us some great places in the Latin district to visit we otherwise wouldn’t of known too.He took his time driving, was patient with us, dropped us off where we needed which was the Louvre and just really chill. Wouldn’t say he’s a overly smiling type of guy but a smirking,slight smile,convo here and there w/breaks but nonchalant vibe that keeps you pretty relaxed.Customer service didn’t feel forced, which we appreciated.The pictures (he sent it to us at the end of the ride through Dropbox) came out amazing. I am a bit of an spontaneous dreamer, so I decided that for my last day in France after a long year of studying in Marseille, I wanted to see the beautiful city of Paris one more time before I left. I was only in the city for one night for a layover on my way home to the USA, so I took the tour on my own. I am mentioning this because in France, you find a lot of businesses that do not take you seriously if you want to do something like this on your own to the point of being rude, so I want to say to anyone who might feel like this is one of those, it is not. If you are the type of person who enjoys doing things on your own sometimes, then this is a tour you want to take! I am so glad that I decided to book a tour with City Wheel Paris! Laurent is so amazing, friendly and thoughtful. This tour is worth every penny! You get to see the most beautiful city in the world, and hear about its history with someone who has a true passion for what they do. He put together a tour with everything I wanted to see in Paris so perfectly that at the end of the night I got to see the Eiffel Tower sparkle at midnight! It was an amazing night! Laurent Segura was perfect; professional, knowledgeable, considerate and so very much fun! I travel a great deal and chose City Wheels Paris as a way to introduce my dear friends to the city. We were in Paris during the 'demonstration protests' which lended unique challenges in just getting around the city with unavoidable road closures and massive traffic blocks in some areas... Laurent expertly navigated this unavoidable situation showing us all around the city barely noticing the problem. Laurent was exceptional at unexpected details, having fresh chocolate croissant for us as we returned from exploring Montmartre, warm blankets in the car and lovely stories of Paris and it's history. AND what a beautiful and fun car with open roof to see everything.
