Hôtel de Ville — Local services in Paris

3/1/2019 approximately 6pm . My tour guide bought my husband and me 2 subway tickets (single ticket) and we used the tickets and got through the ticket entry gate. We got on the subway line 1 at Hotel de Ville. Suppose to get off at Palais Royal- Musee de Louvre. The staff checked my husband and my tour guide ticket were ok . However she checked my ticket and said it was a new ticket . She insisted and confirmed that I did not pay and need to pay the fine of €35. I refused and told her that there was no reason and believe it might be a technical issue with the machine. Then there were 4 staff took us got out of the train at Concorde station to settle the matter. She insisted me to pay the fine in cash , if I refuse then she said “She Will Take Me to Jail” I am a tourist from Australia and with my husband hire a private tour guide for sightseeing in Paris. If I did not use the ticket to get through the ticket machine gate , please let me know how I can get into the station ???? No matter how I explained to the staff , she refused and asked me to pay the fine. She threatened me will send me to jail. Only at the end another staff checked with office and confirmed the entry machine was not working properly. The staff wrote some details on the back of my ticket and throw back to my tour guide in a very rude manner. She said nothing and also other staff with no apologise after all these drama. We then have to took one stop back to Palais Royal and got out there. I have lodged an official complaint to RATP and the staff who are rude , threatened and abused me in the public without any reason and did not apologise to me even though it was the staff fault. La station est ouverte le 19 juillet 1900 avec la mise en service du premier tronçon de la ligne 1 entre Porte de Vincennes et Porte Maillot. Elle doit sa dénomination à sa desserte de l'hôtel de ville de Paris, lequel héberge les institutions municipales de Paris depuis 1357, ainsi qu'à sa proximité immédiate avec la place éponyme. Le 28 avril 1935, la station de la ligne 11 est ouverte à son tour à l'occasion de l'inauguration de celle-ci entre Châtelet et Porte des Lilas. Dans le courant de la même décennie, les quais de la ligne 1 sont allongés à 105 mètres par une couverture en béton armé, ceci afin d'accueillir d'hypothétiques trains de sept voitures, projet qui finalement ne se concrétisa pas. During our 1-week vacation, we noticed that there was NO air con available (i.e shut off on purpose since trains were equiped with air con) on any of the Metro trains (except RER), whilst outside was 30+ Celsius!!!!
