I was staying nearby and asked my hotel where they would recommend for a simple evening meal, anywhere that served steak tartare et frites would be incredible. They highlighted Le Petit Poucet as a favourite of theirs, I questioned the poor reviews (3.5 at the time, I usually try for at least a 4) and was convinced as they said it's unfortunately not accurate and to give it a go, so I headed straight there. I was dining alone and shown to a table outside quite quickly. I wasn't given a menu, and some time passed... I found the menu online and made my choices but then, I was shouted at by a different member of staff. "No, you do not dine here as one, you dine as a 4 or move there and dine as a 2, not a one." Honestly, I was quite shocked, I questioned him asking if he meant I just needed to move to a different area, happy to do so, but no. I needed to leave... I'm often in Paris for work and dine alone in many bistro's and restaurants, I have never been treated like this, especially on a quiet Monday evening. It was rude and quite shocking, I would certainly not recommend, I think most people there tonight were just putting up with it for the football (I'll note I was not sitting near a screen so not taking up space...

The place is well presented but it’s hard to get over the prices. About 12€ for a beer and we paid 12.40€ for 2 teas. I can’t see the value-its just expensive because its expensive.

There is no little biscuit or anything. Just a teabag and hot water. Definitely basic. We wanted something sweet with the tea but for 2 sweets and 2 teas it would cost at least 32€. Mental. As it happened the waitress was so disinterested, that we barely asked for 2 teas before she turned and walked away.

The staff generally ignored us for about 10mins and we didn’t bother to try to get the bill, so just left the correct money on the table. (although the tea didn’t take to long after we eventually ordered).

Not really worth visiting but we didn’t see any place that looked any better from the outside. Maybe there is not much competition and therefore they can just cream the customers.

Not a place I would recommend or return to. You would have to be the type that really doesn’t mind a big bill and is also not fussed about service.. but if that describes you then you would be...

Behavior of the waitresses was not fair. We ordered set with coffee, natural orange juice and croissant, after we got coffee and juice, they told us that there is not croissant available. After few minutes we saw that other customer received croissant and we were a bit surprised because of that. We asked what's going on and why we didn't receive full set we ordered. They told us that croissant is available only out of the set. We were disgusted with this behavior. They told us we should be happy because they could count coffe and natural juice as a single order and then it would be more expensive. I don't judge about the money, but it wasn't fair to the customer that they gave incomplete order without inform about that when we placed order. Finally we had to pay for whole set, so we paid for croissant( which we saw only on other guests table) too. We ate avocado toast, which was tasty, but the behavior makes us disgusted, so we don't recommend this place and for sure we will not...

One of my favorite restaurants in Paris. The cuisine here is soooo good ... super French, they always use the best ingredients ... serving breakfast, lunch and diner ... even late at night! It’s a typical Parisien Brasserie, convivial with a big terrace overlooking the unforgettable “Place de Clichy” - a few movies were shot here. The service is awesome : food and drinks always come quickly to your table and their waiters are charming ... all this happens under the aigle eye of “Gigi” the LadyBoss or general manager if you prefer. She always makes sure everything goes well. She is just wonderful ... makes me feel at home. I haven’t lived in France in a long time and often I miss the culture and the food from my country ... this restaurant have a special place in my heart. I strongly recommend it!

I had an amazing night at LE PETIT POUCET - PARIS with my friends! We enjoyed a few cocktails, and I have to say the highlight was the incredible service. The waiter who took care of us was hands down the best I've ever encountered—always making sure we had fun and chatting with us every time we needed something. He really made our night unforgettable. We also shared a plate of bacon and cheese, which was delicious, especially with the bread that came with it. (The plate was average not really special) It's a great spot to hang out with friends. I absolutely loved it!
