Each tea cup includes a wheel in the centre that lets you control the direction and speed of your spin. If you decide you want a wild ride, simply turn the wheel fast and hold on. If you want a gentler ride, you may opt to not turn the wheel at all.

Please be aware that although you can control the spinning, your teacup automatically tosses and turns on the platform deck.

Every day is a very merry unbirthday for the Mad Hatter. And he's invited you to pour yourself into one of his oversized teacups for a whimsical whirl accompanied by festive music.

For context, we (family of 3, dad, mum and 5 year old daughter) visited Disney Land Paris (DLP) for 3 days.

Themed on the Mad hatter from Alice in Wonderland, this is a standard spinning ride where the cups go around and you can spin the cup.

Don't enter if you suffer motion sickness.

Queues are generally short and move quickly due to the high passenger count it can take per ride.

The glass roof of this ride is apparently unique among all the Disneylands and is very pretty especially...

Alice in Wonderland is my favourite Disney film and the Mad Hatter is my favourite character, so I always have to go for a spin at his tea party. There is plenty of amusement in this simple ride. The aesthetics are pleasing and I always admire the design. I also enjoy picking a teacup according to the colour and pattern. Then of course, going round and round is fun.
