ARKET Store — Local services in Berlin

This starless grading is not meant for the clothes, but for the store management and the customer service. My friend and I were shopping here and there were signs scattered all around the store that there was supposedly a 15% off for your first-time purchase there. We both did the newsletter in front of the cashier employee and she confirmed it. To later see on the bill that I got 10% and my friend got 0% discount. We contacted the customer service and their reply: "deal with the store manager yourself." And obviously, why bother, it's a few euros. That's probably what they are counting on too, people will just forget. But out of principle, I wanted this as a public review: the nickel&dime-ing of customers, them lying to your face in the store and the way the customer service deals with people is really off. Otherwise, nice quality...

EXPENSIIIVE Coffee ! + Arrogant baristas. Listed price for an expresso 2.25€, i ordered it macchiato (means with a cloud of milk on top) and was asked for 3.15€ ! The barista tried to explain this was a double espresso i ordered, so i told her i wanted the 2.25 espresso with Milk, "ok milk is 0,9ct on top sir"... here is what i got ultimately, for 2.25€, a Napolitan espresso, of bad taste for double the Milano higher end...

That's for sure a store with some great esthetics, almost a concept store. I would happily buy some overpriced home decor and cutlery since everything is so beautiful and well presented. Looking for a good pair of jeans was however a big disappointment - "normal cut" trausers with a perfect fit in your waste ended their way like 20 cm above your feet. Arket store has appereantly never heard of...
