This quickly became my favorite place in Lake Atitlan! I went for a massage and thermal bath and had such a lovely experience that I went back a second time. The scenery is beautiful and the thermal pool is so relaxing. Especially great if you have sore muscles after a hike. Rufino and his staff are very friendly and attentive. I had originally tried to schedule a session for 6pm, but Rufino suggested I move it up to 5pm so I could catch the sunset, and I was so happy I did.

There is soft, relaxing music and a bathroom outside so you can change clothes. There is also a cold pool so you can dip when you get too hot in your tub. The staff give you lots of privacy but will also stop by to ask if everything is okay which I appreciated.

You must go in person to schedule your appointment and pay cash in advance. You cannot make a reservation by phone or whatsapp but same-day reservations are totally okay. I walked in at 3pm and got a reservation for 5pm. Remember to bring your own towel and it's BYOB! Amazing. Thank...

The woman who greeted me was extremely friendly and spoke very clear Spanish. I paid in advance and got a 45 minute massage and the thermal bath (which is really a hot tub without the jets). But don't let that stop you. It is an incredible experience just to relax with the view. There is a cold pool to cool down in, which was needed as I was sweating in my pool. The contrast is exactly what the doctor ordered. I paid for 2 hours, and asked for a hot water up because the water eventually got lukewarm. After some polite insistence, I was able to get more hot water. As there was only a few other people l was able to stay as long as I wanted which turned out to be just over 3 hours, watching the thunder light up the night sky. Perfect. Just go. Only thing I would say is that the massage was good, but perhaps not what you are used to if you are seeking a really deep massage, say, after a strenuous hike. I asked for a strong massage and it wasn't really, but I read the reviews and managed my expectations...

Came here with my partner for a massage and to relax in the thermal pools. I always enjoy supporting local businesses (which this definitely is) so had no problem giving my hard-earned money to them.

My partner and I got our massages and were able to bring our own alcohol too which was fantastic. We got two ladies to massage us. While we did “choose” the normal massage, I would say the massage was fairly weak. I guess we should’ve requested the “Fuerte” one, but obviously these women aren’t professional masseuses so nothing against them. Overall, it was still relaxing, but I wish they had given us more intense massages. She didn’t massage my feet that much (which I really needed after hiking a volcano a few days earlier).

The owner was extremely nice and lead us to the thermal baths afterwards. The baths were great and relaxing with a nice little view of the lake.

Don’t expect anything fancy here. This place is off the beaten path and the place itself seems built behind someone’s home.

Still...
