The Clover — Restaurant in Sololá

The Clover is a restaurant in San Pedro with amazing vegetarian curries, nice views overlooking the lake and a beautiful outdoor seating area.

Although it might sound like an Irish restaurant, they offer a variety of dishes including lots of vegetarian options.

It is situated along the beautiful shaded pathway between the Panajachel and Santiago docks. It was an open-air restaurant with seating outside on a patio surrounded by vegetation with views looking out to the lake.

I ate dinner there twice during my visit in November 2016. I ordered vegetarian versions of the mango curry and Indian Bombay curry. Both dishes were flavourful and delicious! The portion sizes were generous.

The Clover was recommended to me by my local Spanish instructor as her favorite place to eat in S.P. so we stopped in for lunch. The green curry also came with the recommendation so I gave it go. Wow wow wow, delicious! I have tasted a lot of curry's in my day and this was one of the best. My wife tried the samosa's and the presentation of the dish was out-of-sight! View from the restaurant is pretty good and the service was very friendly....

This was a great place, very lively, great food, and a wonderful view. We went for lunch when it was a little more quiet, but had passed by the night before and the place was packed with people eating, drinking and having a good time. The daytime view of the lake is great, and they have a huge menu of food and drink to choose from. Definitely a cool spot for at least one meal or beer if you are looking for a casual place to hangout...
