My friend and I stayed here for three nights at 100Q per night for a room with two double beds and bathroom. Our room didn't have a view of the lake and it wasn't clean at all. The kitchen which was available for communal use was incredibly dirty and unusable. Our room was also lacking in a hangout area such as a hammock or chairs outside the room.||||After three nights we moved to a hotel down the road closer to the dock, it also cost 100Q however it had a beautiful view of the lake, a hammock and a bench to sit on outside our room and most importantly it was a lot cleaner. ||||Some of the rooms at this hotel do have views of the lake, however not being able to continue staying here because of the uncleanliness and low value for money is such a shame because the lady who runs the place is so...

STOLE MY PASSPORT AND MONEY. I left and accidently left my passport and money under the mattress and came back 2 hours later and it wasn't there and they had cleaned the room. they said they didn't take it but it was there the night before. Lady said it wasn't her problem not hers. I may not understand much spanish but that i definitely did. She was mad at me because she kept asking me to pay for my laundry that I paid the girl when I dropped it off so I guess stealing my passport and money was her revenge. My clothes were returned with many things that weren't mine also so unsure if I lost anything as well. I don't care about the money I care about...

Great little place for an overnight stay. Nothing fancy, but clean, serviable hosts and a little kitchen and tiny fridge available. Rooms are basic and water isnt hot but the place has a great view of the sunrise and sunset over san pedro. Along the street going to the end you can find a small spot to go swimming in the lake and some good hiking trails not far. Also just a few minutes (5 to 10 min )walk from the dock where lanchas arrive and leave. If your looking for an inexpensive place to eat with good food look for Jakuu... impressive meals for a fraction of what u find in the center...with leftovers if you dont eat everything. Have a...

After handing over the cash payment the host then decided to tell us the room we booked wasn't available for the first night so we would have to move after one night. The room that was available did not have the nice big terrace and chairs - the reason we had specifically booked here. Really inconvenient to have to unpack/pack again and check out before the next room is available. He refused to give any discount for this inconvenience and became very rude so we decided to leave and lost money in the process. Seems to be a theme that they don't give you the booked room, sometimes taking people to the building over the road but they just blame booking.com.

I’d rate this hotel 3.5 stays if I could… Pros: - good location with different restaurants and bars nearby - amazing view from the area outside the rooms looking over the lake - price. I paid $21 for a private room with shower - friendly staff - the owner was super nice and accommodating. - parking for motorcycles Cons: - no hot water. It gets cold there in the AM when I was there in December - wifi was slow - walls are super thin. I could hear everything going on both in the rooms next door but also on the street and nearby buildings so didn’t sleep well I wouldn’t stay here again but for $20 it’s hard to beat the views.

The rooms are super basic. It’s just a single room with a bathroom. The showers are not that hot, but hot enough to be comfortable. It’s clean and it’s up to standards for what you get. It’s at the end of the main road which means not that noisy during the night, only in the morning there’s the occasional dogs that likes to be verbal. The best part of this place though - and the reason to go - is the view. This was our view from room 8 and it is super beautiful. Right outside the door is a hammock, and as you can see it came in very handy. The hotel is family owned and the owners are lovely. They accommodated us perfectly!
