I read some of the low star reviews, & they all seem to have been productive in correcting the deficiencies that the restaurant was suffering from. Looks like the old complaints are just that, old complaints.

I’ve eaten here a few times, the service could use a little bit of improvement, but I’d rather be left alone than have a waiter hovering over me to clear the table & turn it over. They’ve always been extremely polite & professional, read my order back to me to be sure they got it right. I’m usually not ordering a standard menu item, I’m about 90% carnivore or animal based these days, so I appreciate their attention to detail. A 200g order of bacon, 4 eggs w/goat cheese & avocado is a great way to start the day!! Now just if I could get them to cook it in organic butter it would be chefs kiss perfection haha (gotta get everyone away from the toxic vegetable & seed oils) their coffee is decent, but can’t compete (flavor profile wise) with my favorite spots around the lake. COCKROACHES, SLOW SERVICE, AND BAD FOOD!!! Food (including drinks) took over 45 mins to be brought to table, fettucine shrimp pasta was bland and carbonara pasta was undercooked and also bland. Lasagna was okay. Midway through eating I realized a cockroach had crawled onto my shoulder and freaked out. Waiter came out and apologized. I sit down again and 5 mins later the cockroach is on our table. We ask waiter to do something and in the process of trying to kill it, it crawled on our food. Waiter was extremely kind and we didn’t end up paying for our food, but unfortunately the slow service and bad food and cockroaches ruined the experience. If you think this is just because we were seated outdoors, you’re wrong- while paying for our drinks at the cashier we saw baby cockroaches climbing over the soy milk boxes and...

You will wait a lot... Like really 40min for a plate of pasta when the restaurant is empty (like 2other people who where already serverd..) It is almost irrespectfull to be that slow, even when you just ask for a sandwich. And today as usual after a long wait, the sandwich that we order came without egg, that was like the most important thing in the sandwich so can't really understand how it is possible.. And I always had a problem like that when I went there.. So not coming back anytime soon. The food Is ok and the owner seems nice but he really should do something about his workers.. because apparently they don't know...
