This cream Centre ice cream shop is located in Panaji near Mustafa corner opposite Poshak cloth shop. You can sit on the mezzanine floor where 4-5 tables are there and enjoy the unique Gadbad icecream for which the Centre shop is famous. Acyually if you have tasted Mastani ice cream in Pune then this Gadbad ice cream will remind you of the same that is unique and of course the combination of different ice cream flavour like Mango, Jelly,Cherry, dry fruits and flavoured milk. It is also nice in taste and costs rupees 140 per glass. The shop is very particular about timing and it opens at around 10 o'clock and closes at 2 o'clock in afternoon. Again it opens in the afternoon at 3:30 and closes at 7:45 in evening. So you have to follow timing if you want to enjoy this unique Gadbad ice cream. The shop has other food items also but this is mainly famous for Gadbad ice cream. Do taste this Gadbad ice cream when you are in Punji. Visited Cream Centre expecting a good dessert experience but was left highly disappointed. The falooda was absolutely faltu – not sweet, not chilled, and had a sour taste, which makes me suspect that either the milk or the ice cream was spoiled. It was definitely not fresh.
To add to the bad experience, the glass in which the falooda was served was dirty, with falooda dripping and sticking outside. Presentation was unhygienic and unappetizing. I left the glass untouched.
What’s worse, no one even bothered to ask if there was an issue when I left it that way. The waiter was extremely arrogant, behaving more like the manager with unnecessary attitude.
Honestly, I feel people visit this place just for its vintage name, because there is nothing special in their falooda or gadbad. Certainly not...
Read moreWill not visit this place again. Quality has gone down. Waiter or helper whoever he is ,is very rude .just banged the glasses and tissues on the table. Had ordered two faloodas,Both very tasting sour and not at all chilled.they were served at room temperature. The owner seems to be very much money minded given that they charged 100 per falooda which was absolutely pathetic in both quality as well as taste. Request genuine ice cream or shake lovers never to visit this place and waste your money. You will come out dissapointed and angry after an unpleasent experience. The owner should teach the meaning of a shake or a falooda to whoever is making it. Money is not everything,Have some pinch towards customers hard...
