Uday Ahar is your typical hole in the wall restaurant. I have been going to this place for years now, and the food is as brilliant as always. Fish curry rice thali here is so flavourful and such a value for money pricing. Even the more expensive kingfish thali is priced lower than other famous places in the Panaji area. Being the restaurant that it is, the ambience is ok for a quick in and quick out type meal. But the food is absolute worth it. Post our current worldwide situation, i went in for a take away order and the flavours were just the same. Very polite people running this restaurant; if not dine-in I definitely recommend at least get take...

We wanted to have fish thali went around all the sea food places in panjim and found this hidden gem very close to mandovi river where all cruise ships sail . We ordered for King fish thali , pomfret fry and it was just yumm . Best sea food ever . We have been to fisherman’s wharf and ritz but I can’t even compare this place to them . Thier food was so well cooked and the taste was just perfect . Highly recommended and must visit if your in panjim . Only thing is ita a bit small and ambience not very great otherwise just perfect place to have sea food . Also the food runs out fast so don’t go very late...

First Goan dish experience and it was a perfect place to start your lunch. The place was crowded and it's a very small old building but don't allow the looks to deceive you. The Fish thalli was too good and you cannot relishing the sides that comes with the thaali. The rasam kinda thing,mussels are all added bonus with the thaali. Tried prawn xacuti and It was with enough spice and needed sea food dish. Would say this is a definite place to try...
