Came a bit early managed to check in the bags, but bag drop wasn’t open but the lights were on? Then we were told it wasn’t open till half 3 so we went to sit down on the chairs only for a rude attendant to call out and tell us to go upstairs when others where sitting there too. After waiting for two hours we came back down and bag dropped the bags and went to head to security so we could be nice and ready and everything only to be told it doesn’t open till 5am and our flight gate closes at 5:55am meaning that now we have to fly through the security queues, and run through the halls to get to our gate on time, not to mention that the whole time we were waiting for bag drop and security to open there was NO shops or food places open so we were starving despite there being signs saying 24h food court all over the place but not a single one open at all. I’m absolutely appalled by the way they are doing things here. There should be someone at bag drop at all times, food courts should be open 24h if it says so and when bag drop opens security should be automatically opened as well, I am outraged this is not fair on any passenger no wonder the queues are bad and people are missing...
Read moreWhat have you done to T2 in Dublin Airport? I did wonder why there were no queues upstairs ar the new food service offering. Reason 1.... screens to place ALL orders... OK, got through that and then got food delivered in cardboard bowls.... no option to add a slice of toast? Curious for a breakfast, although mine came with a soggy soda farl!! Lovely... NOT.... Then comes the wooden knives and forks?? Seriously, I have eaten in airports across the world and managed to get a proper knife and fork. Its not about security, it's about penny pinching... Thankfully we had to go out through T1 where there was real food, from real people and real cutlery. On the way to T1, we passed what once was "Flutes" a lovely quirky bar, which has been replaced with a "cheap" looking poorly executed Cafe Bar!!! Seriously is that the best you can come up with, after all the money that was spent developing the terminal.... We used to look forward to travelling through T2 but the older T1 now looks like the better option. The only positive in T2 was the efficiency of the security area... Please...
Read moreFacilities are okay but as usual the cost of food and beverages is a disgrace in the Cloud picker you wouldn't mind if it was decent food. it is over priced and the service was slow and the food is not great it was very bland felt like the bread was stale and the cheese and relish was sparce. I wonder who checks the quality of these products on sale or do they think we are one off customers passing through and don't care. On our return flight from Paris we had to wait on the plane for about 15-20mins until they could find staff to guide us from the plane to the terminal building then we had to walk to collect our luggage which felt like it took us halfway round the Airport it took so long. We then got the shuttle bus to the carpark, the display screen showed no parking zones and there was no audio either just music on the speakers. Absolutely redicluious compared to...
