This is the real deal. After travelling around Italy for nearly 4 weeks and trying our fair share of croissants. These may very well be the best in Italy.

What makes a good croissant is the flakiness, crunchiness and freshness. And these undoubtedly tick all the boxes. We have found some croissants to include citrus flavouring in the pistachio or dough which I'm not a fan of. Onestamente le recensioni in italiano sono poche, per questo leggerete “miglior cornetto della mia vita”, perché sono principalmente di stranieri che con tutto rispetto conoscono ben poco della nostra cultura. Che dire, abbiamo camminato 15 minuti a piedi dal centro intorno alle 23:00, per raggiungere questo posto che : è sgangherato, aveva questo signore che quando gli chiedevi cosa ci fosse in vetrina ti rispondeva come se gli stessi rompendo le scatole (anche io ho un’azienda in questo settore, capisco che a volte possiamo essere stressati, ma rispondere in modo adeguato credo sia il minimo, se non mi spiegate cosa vendete come posso acquistare ?!) altrimenti se vi annoiate di rispondere mettete degli IDENTIFICATIVI con i nomi dei prodotti, così che nessuno vi chiederà nulla. Sta di fatto che acquistiamo 2 tette di monache. INDECENTI, credetemi che odio buttare il cibo ma una intera più una metà le abbiamo buttate direttamente. Crema scandalosa, un sapore orrendo e totalmente inaffidabile e fuorviante dalle vere tette. Acquistiamo anche una girella con uvetta, che posso assolutamente confermarvi fosse un prodotto surgelato. È anche il mio lavoro e conosco la storia ed il sapore di questi prodotti, la faccia sembrava diversa ma al primo morso era riconoscibilissimo che fosse un prodotto surgelato e di bassa qualità. This is just an unreal, amazing bakery. I’m picky about croissants. I don’t think any in the US are edible except for a few places (NYC, Vegas). We went back again and again. Their croissants are light, fluffy, and spectacularly delicious. They will fill them with pistachio cream (highly recommended).
